Or any sales person for that matter. I always have to wait because they are busy.Completely unbelievable. Nobody can walk into an Apple Store and talk to a Genius that easily.
Haha, the point is that both companies belittle the other to make themselves look better. Nothing wrong either way, except its only ok when Apple does it. Its always a double standard for Apple users. I think its hilarious to watch them cringe! Thanks for the entertainment![]()
I gave my son my old ip7+, and he HATES it because of the dongle issue. Plus my wife is upset with her MacBook; again the dongle. We spent two hours late in NYC hunting down a dongle for my son. The dongles are STUPID and show Apple's arrogance.
Maybe next year they can improve their sales with the S10.They are. Apparently this is the first year where Q2 sales were worse than Q1. They need to try something different and are getting a little desperate. From sammobile.com...
"A new report from Samsung’s home country is joining the chorus now. According to a report in The Bell, the Galaxy S9 sales in the second quarter were less than what Samsung sold in the first quarter of 2018. The Korean company reportedly sold 9 million units of Galaxy S9/S9+ in Q2 2018, down from the 10.2 million units it sold in the first quarter. Even the combined sales of the first two quarters dropped from 21.2 million units of Galaxy S8 in 2017 to 19.2 million units of Galaxy S9 this year. It appears Samsung’s aggressive marketing didn’t have much of an impact in convincing customers to buy the top-end Galaxy models."
Maybe next year they can improve their sales with the S10.
These adverts are embarrassing. Why doesn't Samsung focus on showcasing their products instead of bashing the competition? Are they trying to be Microsoft or something?!
When your main sales argument is to discredit others, it is that your company is not doing well....
I feel like at some point they are going to make it just "iPhone" kind of like the MacBook line and have it be named by the year.I think it would be a good idea for them to rebrand their phones completely. Apple as well to some extent. These numbers are not only boring, what are we going to do with the Galaxy S 22? Or the iPhone XXI?

Apple would need to tell us what these advantages are because all they said was courage. It’s not the X form factor because the headphone jack was first removed in the 7 series. Apple haven’t provided a compelling reason why they removed it and Samsung have managed to produce a phone with a higher screen to body ratio which has stereo speakers and a higher water resistance rating than apple’s latest phones. So I don’t think it’s samsung’s job to explain something that Apple haven’t managed to.Facts presented with a bias spin aren't quite as factual as you're arguing; nor are arguments against them always about hiding facts. I can say "Lil' Kim is short and petite," (she's 4'11") and that would be a fact, and I might say, "LeBron James is very large." Also a fact. But if I say, "Lil' Kim's short and petite, not lumbering and big like LeBron James" then I'm putting bias spin on those facts.
Likewise here. Yes, there's no headphone jack on the iPhone X. But is (as implied) this lack of a headphone jack reason enough to buy a Samsung over an iPhone? Doesn't removing the jack give the iPhone X some advantages in what it can do? Aren't wireless headphones becoming more popular, making such jacks superfluous, especially if the space phone jacks require could be better used by smartphones? Why aren't these facts being stated (especially if Samsung might soon remove their jacks)...unless it's Samsung who believes in hiding the facts?
They're listing facts about the iPhone and presenting them as damaging...and THAT, arguably, may not be a fact.![]()
Samsung has expanded upon its "Ingenius" ad campaign with three new videos titled Dongle, Fast Charger, and Camera.
In each of the videos, Samsung depicts an Apple Store employee having a conversation with a customer, attempting to justify the iPhone compared to the Galaxy S9, as it relates to the camera, dongles, and more.
In the first ad, a customer asks if he can use his wired headphones with the iPhone X, and the Genius informs him that he will need a dongle. The customer then inquires about charging at the same time, and the Genius says he'll need another dongle. The customer then says, "so, a double dongle."
For what it's worth, rumors suggest Apple will include a faster 18W charger in the box with its upcoming 2018 iPhones.
In the second ad, which has the same format, a customer asks if the iPhone X comes with a fast charger, like the Galaxy S9 does. The employee says no, informing her that she can purchase a Lightning to USB-C cable, along with a USB-C power adapter, for fast charging. The customer has a puzzled reaction.
The third ad emphasizes that the Galaxy S9+'s camera has a higher DxOMark score than the iPhone X--99 versus 97 respectively--although DxOMark has attracted some criticism, and camera quality can be subjective.
Samsung shared the first ad in this series earlier this week, highlighting the Galaxy S9's faster LTE download speeds versus the iPhone X, based on Ookla's Speedtest Intelligence Data from February to April 2018.
The ads don't even try to hide the fact that it's supposed to be an Apple Store, and are a clear jab at "Geniuses." Samsung has repeatedly tried to mock Apple and the iPhone, though, so this is par for course for them.

no they're trying to be apple
they're making valid points too.
I feel like at some point they are going to make it just "iPhone" kind of like the MacBook line and have it be named by the year.
They make fun of Android with the "make the switch" ads.Companies putting out weird mock ads against one another ? You bet it is.
Apple doesn't bother because they know what they do doesn't even compare to these mock ads. At the end of the day, there are always companies can 'pull the wool' over others that are slightly less fortunate.
Maybe next year they can improve their sales with the S10.
“It was different when Apple did it”Belittling another company doesn't make them look better, that's how it's wrong. Apple hasn't ever really targeted another company in its old ads, it targeted ALL of the other companies. There's no double standard, when Apple did that I was not an Apple user and it soured me from ever wanting anything Apple made.
Sort of like how, now, I watch people make assumptions about Apple users that are completely wrong. They now sour me on the people themselves.
Some people really care about high quality audio and will spend a lot of money on expensive wired headphones. I’m not one of those people but they do exist.I get it, but don't just say this is the only reason why to switch phones. How much time are you spending a day in an environment where you can listen and obtain maximum quality using your super duper headphones with your iphone.
