Haven't been banned on flights in Europe - only stipulation is they have to be powered off and not in checked luggage or in bags in overhead bins.
Too bad that Sony uses LG and Samsung panels.

In other news, Samsung has announced in a press conference that they plan on discontinuing all Samsung products to focus on those technologies in which they control the ecosystem entirely. It was stated also that this is in no way similar to the announcement made by Apple to discontinue the airport devices and move engineering into the "lockdown sector" of Apple. It was stated that in fact Apple had copied Samsung when they created a different size phone, because that is what we had done first.

Yes Samsung have blatantly copied Apple before. But colour, black is fair game.
Sure, tech like 3D Touch, and dual cameras with different focal distances, and the fastest hardware in the world, the best screen on a phone, etc.
It sure is / was big news when Apple announced the Jet Black colour and then Apple were crucified by their fans because they only offered the JB in the higher capacity models.
When I had Apple stocks, I used to be upset about Samsung copying. Since I sold all my shares, I couldn't care less.
These days as a consumer, I think Samsung should copy as much as they want. Competition puts pressure on margins. And Apple have massive ones.

I'd be ashamed to own a Samsung device right now. Anyway, their software and customer support suck balls.
Can't be feeling any lower than the Apple 6/6+ and 6s/6s+ owners are feeling right now and all the problems they currently going through - they're hiding those logos with no brand cases and skins.
