I thnk I could keep my 6 (in its case) in my pocket and sit on it and it would be ok if I were stupid enough to do it but anyone that is dumb enough to put a 6+ in their pocket with a case on it and sit down, has really really big pockets and deserves what they get!:)

----------

these people have not held the iPhone 6 or 6 plus evidently...
Being that thin is a good thing if you ask me.
thinking that you can put something that thin and long in your pocket and sit down is absolute stupidity in my opinion.

You're a few weeks behind current events. iPhones are bending when in relaxed fit front pockets under rather trivial stresses, like stepping up into a truck.

It's a bad chassis design. Suck it up and live with it - that's what I'll do. I'm just pissed because this was the year I had to upgrade my phone and I don't want to go Android.

Your denial of reality seems rather suspicious to be honest. There are only a handful of posters here who aggresively deny the bendy iPhone 6+ problem. I wonder why? What's their horse in this race?

There's not even a handful who claim it's a problem.

I wonder why?

So they say.

Yeah, it's a conspiracy. I'll bet for every Samsung troll here there are several Apple PR droids.

It appears you have no experience with this type of case. The case would crack first. It's hard plastic very light and little bulk. Before this "bendgate" issue even stated I ordered this until I can find one I want. The one I have is from Spigen and clear.

I have no fear of bends in or out of the case. I only use cases so I can resell latter.

I have a few of those cases in mind, so I hope you're right. No matter what case I have I'll treat my 6+ like an heirloom teacup.

Always there for every post that points out the 6+ bendy problem. I wonder why?

"bendgate" is that was were calling it ?

horrible name...

Seems you can't keep a phone anywhere u now-days in fear of bending ...

I remember it was only last year, nothing of this every happened,,, i wonder what happened to change all that.

u do know the thniner the phone gets, the more we're be talking about it... so we may as well get used to it.

Just wait

Just wait until after the iphone 6 hype is all gone.

You know, samsung makes more than just phones. They make kitchen appliances, tv's, all sorts of things. Their profits aren't really going down, it's just because the iphone 6 just came out. Just wait a month or two after the iphone hype dies.

People are losing trust in apple, which is why people aren't updating to ios8.

Samsungs profits have declined the last five qtrs in a row.

So yes their profits "really are"going down

Yep. 60% of their profits come from the mobile electronics business.

Really, people are losing trust in Apple?

This is the same story that people tell everytime a new iPhone comes out, "wait for the hype to die down for the iPhone". The iPhone 5c outsold the Samsung S5. And the 5c, according to some people, would be a sales flop.

Yes, Samsung makes TVs which have razor thin margins.

Might want to read this article: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/samsung-braces-for-more-cost-cuts-shake-up-2014-10-07 . Does not look rosy for Samsung for some time to come.

EDIT: Should have realized that you are just trolling:

I'm really not surprised. I mean, only stupid people use the iPhone, stupid people using a poorly implemented feature...makes for more stupid people.

The software I use does not exist for Macs.
Part of the never ending problem of owning an Apple computer :(

Hmm, why does the iPhone 6 Plus look so familiar? Oh, that's right...

 :apple:  :apple:  :apple:  :apple:  :apple:

Right. Samsung makes their phones look like iPhones so criticize Applw when their bigger iPhone looks like a Samedung phone. I hate it when Elvis makes himself look like an Elvis impersonator.

----------

For some insane reason that no one has told me YET Apple ceded the large phone market to Android which includes Samsung. Why did they do this? The world screamed for a big iPhone for years and Apple said, NO this little thing is the right size. Now Apple doesn't even offer the new iPhone 6 in the old size. If it(the old iPhone) was the perfect size, why not make a 4 inch iPhone SIX.

I'm stumped.

I freely admit that the Apple Distortion Field is occasionally too much for me.

Hmmm...I bought a 6 and a 6+. The person that uses the 6 thinks it is too big for him. My bet is that a smaller 6s or 7 will come. It is the best size for a PHONE. For something closer to a tablet the bigger form factors are better. Depends upon the consumers focus and preference.

23 pages about what MR think the next quarterly report from Samsung will be.
People here just love their speculation. I only get annoyed when people incorrectly call the speculation fact. It's only fact once it'a happened, not before.

Samsung warned their investors that their profits may be down upto 60%...MR didn't just arbitrarily pick a number

I would assume if I did that on an iMac then I'd be worse off than on my PC.

I wonder how a MacPro would handle windows software not written specifically for it? I presume it would be very innefficient and a waste in reality.

I have just found another render engine that uses my GPU to render to give 10x speed boost, so will be playing with that soon :)

I find it a bit disturbing that so many people here want Samsung to die. Many people seem to take all this very personal. I personally wouldn't buy a Samsung phone, because I like iOS, and the design of the iPhone. I don't like the look and feel of Samsung's offerings, but in the end they employ a lot of people, and it seems a lot of people like their phones. And if nothing else, they keep Apple on their toes to offer us the best they can do.

I can't believe people are still talking about bends.

People? It's mostly just him....

----------

Such bends have been reported right here on MacRumors. One guy bent his 6+ when he stepped up into his truck with the phone in his front pocket.

----------

Rigid enough to keep a 6+ from bending? They weren't designed for that purpose so I wouldn't count on them to do it.

I'll be treating my 6+ like a delicate teacup, and yes, I'm putting it in a good case. It's a stupid chassis design but that dead gorgeous display sucked me right in.

Oh please, give me a break! You are keep spreading fud about the bendgate non sense....
The guy lied or didn't realized he bent his phone in a different way...
There is not a single video showing an iPhone bent in a pocket. Not a single one.

No. You are speaking about bent iPhones. In the real world the iPhone 6 sells like hot cakes and people are using it without bend in normal usage.
That ridiculous bendgate is a typical internet BS.

It's quite easy to find out every post that points out the iPhone bend problem: it has been written by you.
And I'm not wondering why. I know why...

It's fine - no different from running Windows on a PC workstation - it has the same Intel Xeon and motherboard architecture. Probably not optimized for dual GCGPUs, but most Mac software isn't either.

LOL, if someone posted a video of a 6+ bending in their pocket, you would just say they lied. It's your job.

Apple should be worried also... the market is saturated, growth is slowing, technology is turning stagnant.

You Apple fans can celebrate today, but tomorrow it will be your turn to cut losses.

Mark my words.

Hey everybody! Lee Kun Hee himself has joined Macrumors! Everyone give him a big warm welcome and be nice.... he's a bit frail these days.

It's funny that all the Samsung haters are rejoicing with this news. Guess what? Competition is GOOD for us folks and getting excited over the competition struggling isn't a good thing except for the die hard apple knob lickers.

Apple makes some good stuff and I obviously own some of it. But it would suck if they were the only game in town for these deves and phones. Trust me, it would.

We need a sticky thread titled "Mark my words" where people can post their *facts* and we can all come back later and read how true these people really were.

Apple is worried that is why they keep producing products people want to buy. If you missed my point, a company that is worried is one that is aware that the customer base can chose any product they want. Apple is perfectly aware of what is going on in the market place and has for a long time. Based on what is happening with Samsung, it appears that Samsung has misjudged the market place horribly. I know it is sad but this is the fault of Samsung, not Apple, not HTC, etc.

If the Apple management really does read posts here, they may have seen your post stating your concern for the Apple mobile phone business. Apple is very aware of the public perception of their products.

You lost all credibility the moment you posted "except for the die hard apple knob lickers".
