I guess I'll just have to wait and see. It is a great phone and I'm really enjoying it so hopefully we will get answers soon.
Yeah, Samsung needs to put out an official statement, instead of letting sites do the usual click bait headline thing.

Major websites have reported only that shipments stopped in South Korea. E.g. BGR wrote yesterday:
"A new report from South Korea says the company suspended Galaxy Note 7 shipments to local carriers earlier this week"
And that sales of non-Korean-market models, which use different internals and batteries still continue:
"Meanwhile, it’s important to note that worldwide Galaxy Note 7 sales have not been halted. "
It sounded to me like he was only talking about recalling the affected devices, after they determine to whom some have been sold.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/08/02/exploding-iphone-leaves-man-with-third-degree-burns/An isolated incident, the third time I've pointed out these can happen to any device with Lithium batteries, and a standard NDA. Shocking.
Since you've now posted twice in a row, "Apple sucks", tell me why do you have an iPhone?
Ironic.Just remember: Samsung can do no wrong, especially here on MacRumors.
Or Apple and Bendgate on the iPhone 6.
Desperation? No. Just proving you wrong that you think this hasn't happened to Apple. But as Jack said....Cool. Another single instance. I have no idea what you think this proves. It reeks of desperation quite frankly.
I find it interesting you're complaining about people getting upset if someone bashes Apple, yet you never said anything about the people doing the bashing.
Except, he's wrong of course. People aren't like that here.Starting to learn this. After barely a week here.
Ironic.
Except for you know, the people it happened too. I suppose it was manufactured by them as well? And no, this isn't a "scandal"....Bendgate was a media manufactured "scandal". This is an actual scandal.
As evidenced by this thread, I think I was right in my reasoning. Not everyone here is like this but a large share here is.Except, he's wrong of course. People aren't like that here.
You're reasoning is wrong. But keep believing what you would like.As evidenced by this thread, I think I was right in my reasoning. Not everyone here is like this but a large share here is.
This is probably because there are a lot of people who WERE fans of what Apple produced in the Jobs era who have gone from supporting Apple to despising them, due to what Apple has been doing. Almost every product they have brought out in the last 4-5 years has been a gigantic disappointment, and this seems to be getting worse.Don't hold your breath! You get far more Apple haters around here![]()
There were reports of people who were told they wouldn't get a replacement as well.Every single person who has a bent iPhone got a new one from Apple. So please explain how this is remotely similar.
The media blew this out of proportion, and everyone that did have an issue simply walked into an Apple Store, was issued a replacement, and then walked out 15-30 minutes later. Because it is Apple, the media did overblow it, kind of like most things Apple does, both good and bad.Except for you know, the people it happened too. I suppose it was manufactured by them as well?
As for the numbers I was perfectly transparent about them being a guess. If Apple sell 10 million flagship iPhones in their opening weekend can Samsung not manage 30 million in weeks? Show me numbers and I'll revise the calculation.
While I do give Sammy props for addressing the issue
Go read this thread, then look at the top comments of any article about the iPhone 7 or the Note, and nearly all of them will be against Apple and in favor of Samsung. You're reasoning is wrong. But keep believing what you would like.
You're so far off it's not even funny. There's a reason Samsung stopped reporting sales numbers years ago - because they suck in comparison to the iPhone.
I bet they haven't even hit 2-3 million Note 7 sales. Even the S7 was reported to have only hit 26 million in the first 3 months after it launched. And the Note has never sold anywhere near as many as the Galaxy S phones.
This is actually bad for Samsung. If they sold 30 million then one could claim the issues are normal with that many devices out there. If they sold far less, then it's no longer normal.
Or Apple and Bendgate on the iPhone 6.
No, the media really didn't outside of tech related sites, not everyone got a replacement and some were told no, they wouldn't replace it but you keep thinking you know what everyone got. Anyone, I've got better things to do.The media blew this out of proportion, and everyone that did have an issue simply walked into an Apple Store, was issued a replacement, and then walked out 15-30 minutes later. Because it is Apple, the media did overblow it, kind of like most things Apple does, both good and bad.
That's just it. Who cares if they bash Apple. A lot of y'all that complain about Apple being bashed, are the same ones who bash Samsung and Microsoft and very opportunity. At the end of the day, does it really matter? Like I always say, it ain't that serious. Bash Apple, all you want. It's not gonna make throw my iPhone away lol. Hell bash Samsung, it's not gonna make me toss out my Tab S. Bash Sony...my PS4 will still be in room. Some of y'all just take this stuff too personally. Takes the fun out of these forums, tbh
