Damn that sucks because they've been having such a successful run and while they may not be my favorite competitor, they certainly raise the bar for Apple.

Also hoping this isn't traced back to a supply chain issue that interweaves the iPhone component line.

Can your iPhone do this?

Well, at least they're trying to address it in a timely matter, although it's not like they have much of a choice. As others have noted, hopefully none of those batteries end up in the new iPhone 7's.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 features a 2,560×1,440 Super AMOLED dual curved display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core 64-bit 14nm processor, 4GB of RAM, 12-megapixel Dual Pixel rear-facing camera, wireless charging, an iris scanner, IP68-rated waterproofing, and a 3,500 mAh exploding battery.

I found a typo in the original article...

I don't why but in general most Samsung smartphones batteries suck. My boss has the Note 5 and he had to get the battery replace after 1 year of use. My friend's Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge battery life was TERRIBLE! By mid afternoon his phone would already be at 5% already.

Why do people fanboy? Is it just self reassurance for the product that we spent several hundred dollars on? Can't we just have a product that we like and have high expectations of any company that we give $600+ to? Why do we have to bash other consumers?
