Stuff happens. It's all about how a company responds to an issue.
Case in point...this never seems to be the response on here when Apple has an issue and responds quickly to solve it.

Literally dead on arrival? Do you even know what that means?Yes, a recall is essential.
This phone is literally dead on arrival.
Keep these batteries out of iPhone.
Why do people fanboy? Is it just self reassurance for the product that we spent several hundred dollars on? Can't we just have a product that we like and have high expectations of any company that we give $600+ to? Why do we have to bash other consumers?
perhaps "ignore" or "downplay" would have been a better word than hideHow do you hide it? Social media will hang them in no time.
because people like among other stuff :
1. confrontation
2. self reassuring
3. being part of a team
Yes. You have both grasped it and embraced it my friend, in its dizzying absurdity.Fire Tim Cook!
(Have I grasped the level of reasoned discourse that is the current fashion?)
What does your Huawei watch have to do with this?Burned my fingers a week ago at my charging Huawei Watch. It was very very hot! Even the steel strap was hot. I have to return it because I'm not that confident with this in my mind.
Strange thing: can't find anything about it on Google...
4. Not having a phone that may explode in your hand.
There's at least some amount of glue being used with the Note 7 batteries, so it makes things harder but not impossible. Newer Samsung phones do have a lot of design decisions which require you to trash the phone in order to perform parts replacements, such as the front glass.I hope the recall simply means replacing the batteries in all phones, not destroying and replacing the entire phone. What a waste.
I give props to Samsung for not hiding it and getting the problem solved.
Especially as all the other Apple sites have ignored it."What is this? GalaxyNote7Rumors?!"
They should replace the phones which have the affected batteries with new ones. Then the recalled phones should be repaired and put into the refurb channel.I hope the recall simply means replacing the batteries in all phones, not destroying and replacing the entire phone. What a waste.

Gotta say, good on 'em. This has to be a hard decision because the Note 7 is getting universal praise and high sales. Couple this with undercutting Apple by getting it to the market before the iPhone 7. But good on 'em for seeing a problem and taking a huge loss and trying to get out in front of this thing.
