Are you claiming they have sold more than 2.5 million this quarter?
Since the China launch (with no recall) went ahead separately from the quoted recall number of 2.5 million, then I'd think so, yes.
Are you claiming they have sold more than 2.5 million this quarter?
this right here was at is own fault why would anyone down hill mountain biking with any electronic device in his back pocket, i mountain bike a lot even got races coming up is December the mountain biking community heard about this incident. He did like a 35-40 foot jump i think and landed on his iPhone and it exploded on impact this would happen to any electronic device so whats your point?Audi garbage is likely to burn itself down long before anything else will just like Jeep.

I dont know. What I DO know is theres potential for a lot of money to be made and 3 cases were already fake
I am amazed Touch Disease doesnt bother you. That iPhone 6 you have could die any second because of it.And millions of iPhone 6 have it
This is just a bump in the road.Apple has had it too.Blackberry Numbers?Hahaha.Even with this debacle Samsung will wipe the floor with Sony,HTC and their other Android manufacturers with their results
Its actually a good thing in a way for Samsung to wake them up from their slumber. To get rid of this negative publicity something grand is gonna be on the horizon.Always on 4K OLED?Foldable displays?
This thread isn't talking about all their smartphone. Its about the galaxy note 7.
The note 2 sold 30 million units the note 3 went down to 14 million. Note 4 barley did 4.5 million. Note 7 is currently stalled at 2.5 million. 2.5 million a quarter, yeah that's blackberry 10 numbers.
They had only sold 1M, the other 1.5M were in the channels.
They had only sold 1M, the other 1.5M were in the channels.
To use the logic thrown around like a sack of potatoesk, it's not a certified issue until Apple says it is. Could have all been staged. And nice deflection, maybe we'll forget about the 60 note 7 that caught fire.
How does a phone catch fire in the box but the box doesn't burn?![]()
It's magical![]()
Honestly, I am actually starting to feel a little sorry for Samsung. The desperation of some to try to deflect from Samsung's continuing woes is quite entertaining.
I might cancel my cable.
There's really no positive spin for a Samsung at this point. I was on a plane last week and when they demanded that anyone with the Note 7 shut the phone off, I overheard chuckling
Saw on TV news that a iPhone 6+ caught fire in a NJ college students pocket while in class. He said it was turned off at the time. Not as bad the Samsung fiasco but interesting non the less. You probably heard minors chuckling which is a sign of ignorance since it can happen to any LiPo device. Did you join them?

I flew southwest two weeks ago and the same chuckling happened when the announcement was made. And the person who was in back of me with a note 7 was saying she is going back to iPhone. There's really no positive spin for a Samsung at this point. I was on a plane last week and when they demanded that anyone with the Note 7 shut the phone off, I overheard chuckling and even two people say they'll never buy a Samsung phone now. The damage of this recall is going to haunt them for years.
Yes. Who makes the batteries for these devices? I'd look there before blaming the company whose branding is on the device. You probably heard minors chuckling which is a sign of ignorance since it can happen to any LiPo device. Did you join them?

The reality is that any LiPo battery is a risk. The most recent airline guidelines don't even allow you to ship single packaged battery packs by air for this reason. Even dedicated Apple fans are likely to admit that their phone has periodically heated up for no clear reason, or that they have had some sort of battery-related issue. The problem is that (on this forum) there is a strong pro-Apple bias, so many of these issues are simply minimized or forgotten (this is a common cognitive bias).
The reality is that neither iphones, nor any other phone, have had an endemic issue that required they be withdrawn from sale and switched off on flights. The problem is that (on this thread) there is a weak Samsung Defence Squad trying to conflate the tiny chance of potential failure of any Lithium battery with the endemic failure of the Note 7 (this is cognitive dissonance)
