Are you saying you wouldn't like a foldable phone? I would love one.
We will have to wait and see because this is not the final thickness.
Why all the anger?

Can you remind me of the release date for Apples wireless charger? It was announced last year or something wasn't it?
Also what is the release date for the new mac pro they announced?
You really think that’s clever, don’t you? A real
gotcha!
Apple was extremely vague about the Mac Pro, and didn’t promise that we would see anything in 2018, so your Mac Pro comment is simple not a valid point. If you have been paying attention at all to what’s been going on with Apple lately, you would know that that announcement was made because they realized that they had made some design mistakes with the old Mac Pro, and wanted to reassure pro users that they were not being forgotten. It was a very rare moved buy them, but extremely welcomed. And, as promised, they have released a number of great pro products to satisfy 75% of what pro users needed in the meantime (iMac Pro, MacBook Pro, Mac mini pro).
As far as the charging pad, it’s clear to anyone who reads this site that they have encountered an unforeseen heat problem, and they’re not releasing the product until they get it right. It’s a mistake. Even the best companies make them.
Are you suggesting that this mistake is representative of Apple’s corporate philosophy on how to strategically introduce products, or that this is a one-off exception because of a technical issue?
Yeah, didn’t think do.

You look but you are not seeing.
Why is smaller ipad not selling? Simple. Because it is not portable/pocketable. If you are going to use it on your couch anyway, why not just get a bigger screen.
But the Galaxy F is a portable "tablet". A 7.4in 4:3 ratio screen is much bigger than a 7.4in phablet 19.5:9 ratio. This makes many use cases that are not so ideal/convenient to do on a phablet (e.g. watching video, multi-windows, web-based applications, editing and drawing) become much better. This opens up a lot possibilities since we never had a portable tablet before
This is going to be a bulky phone and a tiny tablet. And a square screen will have a negligible impact on the size of video images. I stand by my projection that this will be in awkward product that is not ready for prime time and will not have a significant enough market or use cases to turn a profit.

No, it's an important narrative for Apple. They claimed they invented multi-touch when they didn't. They steal ideas, buy out smaller companies, claim everything as their own when they do next to nothing other than perfect GUI (which they do very well).
Really? Interesting. Please find the quote where Apple claims to have “invented” multi-touch, rather than simply being the innovators who made it practical on a tiny screen and the first to bring it to market. Please. Find these outrageous claims they’ve made and paste them below. I’m waiting...

This sounds like puffing smoke up Apple's behind.
It’s just being observant, Smiley.
