They're spending more money on making ads about Apple than in making their product experience better
I got the fold-4. It's an AMAZING phone. I really cant wait for a foldable from Apple. The only reason I'm not keeping it is because I don't want to give up my Apple Watch, which is better than the Galaxy Watch 5 by a mile.

Ho hum. Another year, same verse from the makers of crappy washing machines.
That’s the truth.
Had a Samsung washer and dryer once, lasted about a year, Best Buy wouldn’t support it anymore and there wasn’t anyone within 120 miles (and I’m in a city of 300k people) that was authorized to work on it.

Love your screen name, I’d bet 80% on here have no idea who Fred and Arnold Ziffel were, lol

Is it really "innovation" making another phone with a better camera? At this point phones are a commodity and hardly the platform for innovation.

Innovative products/tech from Apple:

•Original iMac
•Gen 1 iPhone
•G4 Cube Mac
•Apple Silicon

Seems a bit desperate to directly reference a competitor. Even the Mac v PC ads never mentioned a specific company. If Samsung really thinks the iPhone 14 is a dud why even mention it? All they’re doing is reminding people a new iPhone is coming out.

I thought this was pretty funny. I have always had an iPhone, however for a couples of months this year I did switch to a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra thinking I was finally going to make the change since my work phone is an android and I had gotten used to it, but I ended up going back to my XS and waiting for the 14 Pro Max. I have to say though, the Ultra has a lot of cool features that I personally liked (swiping to go back, complete customization is amazing, s-pen, a great camera with some very good built in editing features, and IMO it's a gorgeous phone both the design and the screen - the s22 ultra specifically), but still a few iPhone features were more important to me (iMessage, Apple CarPlay is way better, and the touted battery life for the max phones). I think both are amazing phones, it truly is just personal preference and some small features can be the deciding factor. If Samsung ever improved the battery life even more, gets improved Android Auto (allegedly coming, but how improved?), and finds a way to make messages between Apple and Android work seamlessly (I know this is Apple not playing nice too) I could see me switching over. On the other hand if Apple ever allows more customization that would keep me much longer, despite Android making any changes. I think the iOS vs Android clique debate is silly, they both excel at certain things and I really think they're both great!

lol, I have the S22 Ultra. They should fix their damn battery drain issue before making bold claims of being better in some fashion. The Iphone just works without draining the crap out your battery throughout a normal day. Google battery drain without even mentioning "samsung" or "S22 Ultra" and the S22 Ultra is among the top search results. THat looks really bad. I'm past my return window so I'm just gonna live with it and see if updates improve it. But Iphone 14 Pro Max might be in my future.

Isn’t it amazing. So many years. Same results. iPhone has been my go to device for so many years. I don’t care about how many more features you get with a Samsung. Thing is not all their features work properly outside the box. Thing is iPhone just works better. Apple is always late to the party with features but when they arrive they do it better. iPhone is like that famous person arriving late to the party and when it walks inside the door everybody stops to notice. Apple takes the cake to the party and eats it too. They take the knife too.

Anyone who thinks the iPhone camera experience and image quality is on par with the Samsung S22 is drunk on the kool-aid. I've never owned any smart phone except an iPhone, but people I know with Samsung high end phones always have better pictures than ones shot on iPhones. I almost never take pictures, so it doesn't matter to me, but I know people who are about to drop iPhone and move to Samsung because they're tired of the low image quality you consistently get on iPhones.

Apple should just remind everyone that Samsung was responsible for the spontaneously self-destructing phone. That should shut them up.

“We may not have the highest resolution camera sensor but our phones weren’t banned by airlines for doubling as explosive devices.”

Technically, there is no 108mp and 100x space zoom in a flip 4. They could have replaced it with a banana.

Yeah that's what surprised me the most when going from my S20 to 13 Pro, the photos have this overdone sharpening effect and so much detail is gone when you zoom a bit... I also don't care much about photos so doesn't bother me a lot, but I found it funny considering how huge the cameras are. On trash lighting the 13 Pro makes better photos though.

I'd love it so much if my competitors talked about me in their ads and media statements. Apple's pretty lucky to get that much free press from Sadsung.

I thought of getting a Samsung phone to test my android app, but I settled on a pixel 6A instead, because it only cost 400 bucks. The camera is better than my iPhone 11 Pro… But it’s also four years newer. and it cost about a third what the Samsung phones cost 🍸😺

I mean, I hate it… but they aren’t wrong. Tired of those camera tumors… Apple is falling behind. Their OS is still far more superior, but their hardware design choices are just lacking

It's the same thing as the Android fans who flood Apple forums with negative comments. You do not see Apple fans on Android sites doing that. It really shows the jealousy and which one is ahead, way ahead.

"Buckle up for Apple's latest launch," the ad says. "As you enter a world where heads will turn, just none in your direction." A world where "the highest resolution in a smartphone will be in someone else's pocket. And that epic moon shot that's getting all the likes won't be yours." "This innovation is not coming soon to an iPhone near you," the 30-second ad concludes.
And yet the iPhone still manages to take better looking photos. :)
