Of course you can't put it down it's far too big to fit in your pocket.
That ain't a problem for him. He wears parachute pants.
Of course you can't put it down it's far too big to fit in your pocket.
If you factor in cost it is cheaper to buy an iPad which will be usable and supported for years than buying some cheap forget about updates droid.
You my friend are a minority; we are all minorities because were discussing this on a blog site. Your typical gadget user be it Android or Apple could care less what we say. Their playing Candycrush, checking Facebook status or browsing the internet. The number of registered members on this site is less than 1% of all Apple users.
I wonder how the rankings go among people who have owned and used both Samsung and Apple?
I know Android users who shrug as their phone runs dead at 4pm and say how much they LOVE Samsung and HATE how Apple "won't let you" do things with your tablet.... and then they fire up their tablet to do the only three things they ever do with it (all things that are better an iOS), while I go off to run all kinds of tablet apps they'll never have, and do things they wouldn't know how to begin on Android. Then they re-buy a new phone or tablet every year, burning more money than an iOS device that lasts, chasing the next Android fad. I'm appalled at what they'll put up with, but they simply don't know (won't let themselves believe?) that iOS is better in a lot of ways that would matter hugely to most users--if they knew.
And these people would certainly give high satisfaction scores to Samsung. Their standards are that much lower.
I've just switched to a Note 3 from an iPhone 5. Frankly, I can't believe I left it this long. I can't put it down. Still like the iPhone, but the screen on this is just astounding.
I think the iPad Air will give Apple a few more points.

And who wouldn't want to pay a little more for among the best?
I dont think iPad Air will be able to do it because its a $500 dollar tablet in a market saturated by millions of iPads that are still being used and updated. Those tablets just dont turn into door stops right. If you want market share you have to reduce the asking price. If you want profits you keep doing what youre doing.
In the next 2 months competitor tablets will see good deals just because of the holidays. Youre not going to see a huge deal on ipad Airs and especially not the retina minis.
Of course you can't put it down it's far too big to fit in your pocket.
Wait a minute this is Samsung, they probably manipulated the figures.
Thought I'd quoted the guy above talking about note users. Apparently not. Everyone has a derp now and again.
Why didn't you think of that when Apple was leading the charts? Interesting...
Am I the only person who find it rather sad how many Apple fans reacted when Apple falls off the top.
When Apple is number one they rub it in everyones face. Turn it around and they fall off OMG results are fake. They refuse to believe it is possible.
I sadly find it almost amusing how many of you are reacting.
My interest is often piqued when a given status quo shifts, often resulting in critical analysis of things that were otherwise not previously interesting.
I believe my questions remain objectively sincere and are worth answering, regardless of whether you want to read into my motives for your own interests. The answers affect the meaning of the study across past, present, and future iterations.
Are some of you guys so insecure that if another manufacturer has good satisfaction results, it affects you in some weird way?
Who cares if someone else is satisfied with tablet X? Good for them! I'm happy with my iPad 3 and iPhone 5 and that's good for me.
Um no we're just interested in accurate math, which this isn't.
no it is. The problem is you are confusing total with over all satisfaction.
It is a separate category. It results do not have to seem to line up with everything. It would be like power being based on the other categories. It is its own category.
As I said earlier a lot of people here need to get over themselves. Who cares. Apple lost by a minor amount.
I already posted a table above that shows the math is wacky. According to JD Power the survey:
"measures satisfaction across five key factors (in order of importance): performance (26%); ease of operation (22%); styling and design (19%); features (17%); and cost (16%)."
So their methodology ranks cost last (the one category Samsung best Apple in) yet Samsung's overall score is better. How is that possible? I could maybe understand it if they raked cost as most important, but they didn't. If the overall score isn't based on the 5 factors what is it based on?
