I thought everyone hated Face ID. They say it's too slow and it won't unlock their smartphones when placed down on a desk. I keep hearing the smartphone reviewers whining about how they badly need a fingerprint sensor embedded in the display. Of course, everyone hates the iPhone notch, so somehow Samsung is going to have to get rid of it before a 3D facial reader can be accepted. It's unbelievable all the moaning and groaning is over some notch in the display area. Maybe the whiners will give Samsung a free pass that they wouldn't give Apple. Anyone with a working brain should realize a notch is just a necessary area to put sensors without wasting the entire area. I'm certain that as the technology improves over time the notch will become a memory.
