Yes, no one cares about Samsung, so that's why the media ignores this. In fact, Samsung probably wishes this would be reported more.

Samsung's mobile division is like the little kid that intentionally tries to get in trouble just so people will pay attention to him.

Because Samsung previously advertised that their phones don't bend like an iPhone. That's about it.

Ahh, I didn't know. Can you link me where Samsung said the S6 doesn't bend as much as the iPhone 6? I'd be curious to read their official statement.

LOL this entire thread ##### man the hate Samsung gets here is hilarious. The way some people here react to Samsung, you would've thought JK Shin stole their girlfriend or something. Not since the days of Sgt. Slaughter in 91, has their been such heel heat.

It was last year when the Iphone 6 came out. You shouldn't laugh at people if you're designing something similar... That seems obvious isn't it. But, hey, not to Samsung :).

Most of the people here probably weren't born yet in 1991.:D I remember Sgt. Slaughter.

Right... Unlike the hysterical bile filed 10000+ posts on "bendgate" 6 months ago... Hey, no hate there! You can find them and delight on how crazy mellow and non hateful (sic) those posts were in the archive of this very site...

I predict, unlike the Apple bendgate outcry, that the media completely ignores this.

You mean like people getting leukemia in Samsung factories, or Samsung having patented a phone with rounded corners...

Seriously, there are people who want to demonstrate that a phone can be destroyed with brute force, there are idiots who buy expensive stuff, don't look after it, and start crying when it breaks, and then there are people who look after their things, and their phones don't bend, no matter what make.

Now while I don't blame Samsung for their phone, I totally blame anyone who forgets the massive outbreak of idiocy when something similar happened to Apple (but apparently the Apple phones are actually stronger), and doesn't want to eat humble pie when they should.

The only reason the Samsung tests have ANY relevancy at all is because Samsung previously parodied iPhones bending. Their next step was to keynote/announce a phone with premium quality materials that would not bend.

SamDung. And we should know what 'Dung' is.

nokia 3210 indestructible! How far backwards we have come in regards to battery life and durability!!!

----------

Was there anyone who expected any phone to withstand 800 lbs of pressure?

Yup old school nokia

Actually it's not surprising that it bent early. There are 2 models of this phone, the only one they tested is the model that has a Rolled Glass Edge, which is going to be more rigid by design. Seriously, Test the Main S6 and tell us what that did! This is totally crap journalism at it's finest. I was really interested in seeing how they competed, but when you choose to test to unlike models, what did you fricking expect! Test the S6 so we know the truth and can make informed decisions!

My (bigger) issue with Antennagate wasn't the issue itself - it was the smoke and mirrors/redirecting routine that Jobs/Apple created to try and get around the issue.

I owned two non-Apple phones at the time and both had a warning in their manual that you can lose connection if you don't hold it right.

LMAO even if there were 1000s of anti hate filled Apple comments, who the hell cares? Why, for the love of all that is holy, do you and people like you take this crap so seriously? Lol some of yall get so angry over somebody saying something negative about Apple. Are yall on the payroll or something?

LOL and then yall are constantly being little soldiers in this "war" against Samsung, as if Apple gives a damn about your support. And before you try to label me as a "Shamesung troll" I'm typing this on my 6+ (which I still love) and I'm also getting the GS6 edge.

No, of course, the only issue is here hypocrisy, double standards and irony in Samsung' actions. Other than that, Samsung and its phone will do fine; unless irony is actually damageable to phones of course ;-).

What's hilarious is that the video has more dislikes than likes.
At least (some) Apple fans found the whole bendgate scenario funny.
Samsung fans need to loosen up.

I have a 6+. My phone never bent. Personally, I feel all this bending crap is just that...crap. Can it happen? Sure. Do I think it was over blown? Yep. Just like the "gapgate" crap Apple fans tried to start with the Note 4. All this crap is stupid and hardcore fanboys who truly buy into it and get overly defensive...I can't help but facepalm.

LOL a machine bending phones that's not a point.

The bend polemic was related to the iphone 6+ inside a trouser pocket, the thing bends, now, is it stupid to put it there? yes of course, the thing is too big but IMO the form on the iphone 6+ makes it more prone to bend than other phones EVER.

The Galaxy S6 is not at the same level of bending than the iphone 6+, that video is just bs. Show me many people complaining then ill believe.

Show us something better.

If you want to convince people that a scientific test is less reliable than people's accounts and hearsay, you need to do a better job with presenting your case. How about linking to a video that proves that the video is BS? To quote you, "show us something better."

Really? do you have a machine like that inside your pocket?

I really just came here to say, ha ha. It's pretty funny man. Can't you see the humor of this situation.
