I still cant figure out why they're still using the app/home/back button persistent interface along the bottom. So redundant and obsolete at this point. I really don't like it at all.
It's customizable, you can disable those buttons and use only gestures.

Every recent Samsung has the option to change to gesture based navigation and removing that bottom navigation bar. They just come out of the box with the bar enabled for whatever reason.

I'm not going to hate on this too much. It's a clever idea, but only appeals to a niche audience (the ones on the fence about switching). But it really gives no compelling reason to change, either, unless you just happen to like that UI better.

WOW. people bashing Android here like they Bash Intel.

Have you tried a Galaxy S21 Ultra lately?

It's as good if not better than the iPhone.

I've had more hardware problems with APPLE phones than I ever had using Samsung and Android.

There's a lot of hate here based on devices from 5+ years ago as well. The last few years of Samsung's have been great devices. I personally would use one over my iPhone if not for the fact that literally every single person I care about, and clients, use iPhones. So having an iPhone makes the core feature of a phone (communication and sharing) a lot easier.

This is an Apple fan site, of course everyone here will be bias against Androids and anything non Apple.

I've used Galaxy devices since the Galaxy S4 all the way to the Note 8, and I did not regret the experience ever.

Now on my first iPhone (12 Pro) since I switched way back, I can say that there are features that I miss: Better screens, no notch, crazy customization, a back button, (to a lesser degree) headphone jack, close all open apps, notification scheme, and universal landscape mode.

However, the Apple ecosystem just can't be beat.

Especially in my case when other family members all have iPhones, iPads and Macs. So I don't regret the switch back at all.

That's a very weird date format.

Is there a simulator that makes group texts and attachments with Android users play nice? Now that would be cool.

I can’t access it, its asking me to scan a QR code on my iPhone X.
I attempted without my VPN and Safari content blocker, and in a private tab.

It kind of looks cool to try, Samsung and android has changed a lot since I had a Galaxy note 3.

Pros and cons of Android aside, this is a pretty clever approach to marketing.

And it's been generating what, a post every 3 minutes or so on MR? It got our attention.

I wonder if they tried doing this via an App that ran afoul of Apple's App Store rules before falling back to a web app.
