I see it like this:

You have two vendors. Each are using the same components. The components are all bought from third party vendors. One vendor charges you double the amount of money for the same parts the other vendor is using. Which would you buy?

The one who is able to use those components to create the product which offers me the better user experience.

the crappy thing about samsung updates.. you’re forced to update.. no way around it. unless you can root your phone. that’s another reason i enjoy my XR, i’m still on 12.1.1 and haven’t dealt with any lost LTE issues or crazy bugs found in .2 - .4
You just have to deal with those pesky update notifications. I thought .4 fixed the LTE issue?

What do you gain from frequent iOS updates? iOS 12 is pretty much the same as iOS 7 with the same limitations. You only get recurring DoS bug or privacy breach fixes that Android rarely ever need.

It was all click bait.

EverythingApplePro is a joke. He changes his mind every two minutes. I would ignore him.
Almost as bad as painfully honest tech.

He's fumbling on both devices. Obviously the issue is the devices are too big for his midget hands so he needs the Galaxy S10e or even iPhone SE. Plus, YouTube is his full time job that pays for his mansion and toys. Don't kid yourself that it's not all about the click$.

I'd put up with iOS' endless DoS bugs too if it pays my mortgage and payments.

Well, this thread started it by making such a huge deal of how he was ditching his iPhone for an android phone, and how it was supposedly evidence that Apple was losing its innovative edge. I called it, nobody believed me, and it’s amusing how the conclusion is now the opposite of what they were hyping it up to be.

The problem with these headphones is that I manually have to disconnect them from the last device I used before I can connect them to another device. This could be a pain if that device is upstairs and in downstairs.

However with the buds having all the same features as the AirPods, better sound quality and cheaper that is a great thing.
Agreed that could be a pain if the master device is upstairs. But if does show the devices have a good BT range :)
However with Android, all one has to do is to tap the Bluetooth on/off to get the device one wants to use to connects and over ride the device one doesn't want to use. Don't really see it as an issue. Can't this be done with iOS? And remember with Android one can have Bluetooth toggle widgets on the homepage right next to the icons for whatever audio/visual app one uses. Quite simple and easy really, and if one isnt a barrister earning £500 an hour, those extra few seconds arn't really a problem :)

Apples margins have been shown (on various threads on MR) to be relatively consistent over time. This means their phones aren't as "dirt cheap" to make as some believe. Apple sells in a different space then the Samsung $50 phone, of which it is to be expected it will see more than a $1,000 like the Galaxy or iphone.

So basically another FUD post.
Please give everyone the product name of a Samsung phone that sells without subsidies for $50.

So you’ll have to wait 8 months at least after android Q releases later this year in order for Samsung S10 to get an update, NO THANKS!
I have a Huawei P20 Pro and updated to Pie late January. Explain to me what disadvantage I experienced waiting 4 or 5 months after Google initially released Pie. I'm intrigued :)

Think everybody knew he would switch back...his career is his YouTube channel after all.

Wether the iPhone is a worse product or not he likes iPhones better and really that’s his preference.

Could see that coming from a mile away, was simply clickbait to get more views.

You are not as clever as you think you are, we ALL knew he would go back to the iPhone, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out. What i did say is that he was giving the S10 good wrap, and deservedly so.

Let's just clear up what everyone is thinking: The Samsung phone is everything the iPhone wishes it could be. But isn't. Look at the engineering chops on Samsung. They packed all that technology into that little hole, just as secure and fast as FaceID. Also, look at how GORGEOUS the rounded corners are on the Samsung.
I don't agree with your statement about the iphone wanting to be the s10 but I do agree it's a great looking phone.

does anybody know where I can get the iPhone wallpaper with colorful smoke seen in the video? thanks

you get the notification to either update or postpone.. you can get that message maybe 5 times then it auto updates

What are you talking about?
In galaxy settings , you can turn off "automatically check for updates".
You wont be nagged at all unlike Iphone updates.

Comments like these humor me ALWAYS! As an iPhone user myself I have to ask what security risk are there associated with Google/Android platform? Celebrities iCloud get hacked into daily and their private pics are plastered all over the net. FaceTime just had a very intrusive flaw exposed recently. Just say you don't like Android and it will be more respected.

That's not to mention that just about every iPhone user (including myself) uses Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube, Search, etc. etc. and still pretend that they have "data privacy" because it's an iPhone and not and Android phone. LOL.

Your privacy, like your right to vote, is a fundamental part of democracy and needs to be strongly and thoroughly protected. Too many people freely give it away without understanding the consequences.

My neighbour was amazed when I told her that Facebook would use the information they hold about her to target specific advertising.

It boggles my mind that people don’t realise how these companies make money and how nefarious their activities are.
[doublepost=1551611242][/doublepost]

Apple make no money from the Facebook app being in the store.

With several billion people around the globe using FB - many people simply would not purchase a phone which would not run Facebook.

They don’t charge you for components, but for finished products, designing it, ...

Also, if Apple buys components from, let’s say Samsung, do you think that they will be priced equally? Which product will be cheaper in the end?
And this is not only in electronics.

Also, in this case, Samsung’s mobile phone business is a tiny chunk of an income. Almost anything made in Korea is made by Samsung (including army equipment), so they have stable profits from many other sources.
Apple has got hardware, a little bit of commercial software (almost none) and services, to get the income vs. “we make everything ” Samsung.

I do not justify the price tag. In fact the prices are keeping me away from all the Apple devices I would like to own. and if I buy, I buy secondhand only.

Front looks good, but they can't seem to get the design of the back, Ugh.
I prefer the back for the purely functional reason that it wouldn't rock when using it on my desk. I can't stand the lop-sided iPhones for that reason.

It was quite strange when he said that FaceID is faster. From what I've seen it's definitely not faster or more accurate.
I'm more interested in what unit he's measuring the accuracy by.
