Scotland and N Ireland Delays...

Good news!!

Hi guys,

A couple of days back I sent the obligatory letter to Mr Cook on Wednesday!!

I had nothing until I have just received a number from a lovely lady who was phoning on behalf of Mr Cook and she stated that all Northern Ireland deliveries that were ordered with an initial delivery date of the 16th March Woul receive them today.

She actually was as explicit to say that my package was 'out for delivery' as we spoke.

I would put more credence to what she is saying as opposed to what some person is saying in the courier's call centre!!

Here's hoping everyone!! Hope you all manage to get sorted!!

Will do- with your update about the plane being delayed and what I was told I'm not panicking anymore. Although I would have loved to have got my delivery this morning so I can pop into town and buy the new AppleTV I'm preparing for the fact that will likely need to wait in all day for a late delivery this afternoon or early evening.

Hopefully more details within the hour- away to play xbox!

Ha, ha. Mine just left Bellshill Glasgow but as I am in a rural area can't see me having it till at least lunchtime. Dog's going to be cross legged waiting for her walk in case I miss the delivery. lol

My iPad is on Glasgow. Current status awaiting delivery! I don't stay in Glasgow so not expecting it too early!

Anybody in Aberdeen (or anywhere north of Glasgow) received an update? My TNT tracking says "In Transit" with last location as KG4
 
My TNT status just updated:

16 Mar 2012* 09:08:57* Belfast Depot*
Shipment Received At Destination Depot.*

Now will it go out for delivery... Think that's tnt's call, and with mixed replies we have all got, it's 50/50....
 
Think we broke the tracking page all i'm getting now is

"Sorry, we are unable to fulfil your request. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Please re-submit your enquiry."
 
Guys, I caved.

Went to my local PC world and bought one.

Was 11th in the queue. Got there at 845am, in the store at 9am and out with my new iPad at 9:09am.

Was at PC world at Sprucefield, Lisburn.

Guy said they have 120 iPads.

Will return mine tomorrow if it ever arrives and if it is late I will support you guys in complaining to Apple about it.

Hopefully the guys getting call backs from TNT and the lady from apple will get those calls soon and update us all from n Ireland...
 
TNT UK tracking page does not load anymore, and when it does, it shows up a error.

So I phoned in TNT, funny because the woman said "Let me guess, you are phoning about the new iPad ?" LOL They must be fed up now ! All those people phoning in.

Anyway, she said that they are trying to deliver today (by the way, I am in Aberdeen) but because of so many items, if not delivered today, they will deliver Saturday as well.

Ah crap.... I was so hoping.

Im in Aberdeen too - the TNT app is working for me. It says the package is still "In Transit" and hasn't reached Aberdeen yet. Shame

I'm in Motherwell I was originally told it would be delayed last week by Apple until the 20th. Now it's in Bellshill been there since 7:30am I could have driven there quicker than its taken TNT to get it to mine lol JP.

Hmmm...my status hasn't changed. And I didn't receive that call back from TNT either- getting really frustrating!!
