Mine is Gen 2 however I had Gen 1 before getting it and loved it too. Still an awesome device.

And no worries about the username, it sticking out like that would bother me too. I never knew it was doing that as all I basically use is Tapatalk. Cheers.

I just had a quick look online and do not see where I can change it? Do you or anyone else know where I need to go in order to edit it? I checked under my profile settings and can’t see the option anywhere.

I have a feeling it isn’t possible for a user. You might have to contact a moderator.

A screen protector might just cover that.

but a screen protector will nullify the oleophobic coating anyway?

I'd polish it out, then put a protector on, or get it repaired properly.

That damage is pretty severe though... had my eyes on a 4, but that looks horrific from such a minor scrape.

I use windows 10 and the name sticks out the same way on it as on the iPad. The forum admin team should restrict the number of characters in a username so that doesn't happen.

Were you there when it got damaged? I am enjoying mine, it was just bad luck.
