I'm seeing a lot of people with burn-in on 14 and 15 Pro's.But still, imho a "normal" (non-deutered) OLED should have a lifespan of at least 7 - 8 years.
Definitely those people used the brightness level cranked up at maximum for the whole time, w/o using the auto-adjust feature and subsequentally w/o calibrating the min and max levels.I'm seeing a lot of people with burn-in on 14 and 15 Pro's.
Feels like LG got a higher percentage of displays this year compared to last year. Someone should tell them sit tf down.I highly doubt it. They are still going to use the same type of panels and this has always been the case, even in prior generations. It's just that people are now more informed and are looking into it. In general OLED panel lottery is on every type of device.
Pros or Pro Maxes?I really dislike the iOS 26 design changes so I've been trying to get a device with a Samsung display. No luck so far, it's been mostly LG for all the devices I have gotten.
Only tried one Pro, it was a GH3Pros or Pro Maxes?
I’m gonna wait and see whether pro or max gets LG displays more and avoid that.
I heard the 16 Plus was Samsung only
Hopefully LG leaves a model untouched
i seeOnly tried one Pro, it was a GH3
Pro Max ends up being an LG screen 90% of the time (based on what I've purchased) with terrible green shift and noticeably lower brightness than Samsung displays, I've gotten G9P before but at 50% brightness with night shift on the top of the display has a brightness gradient vs the bottom half. I got G9N twice but both times one half of the pictures the camera was taking was significantly blurry. Not sure what's going on, I usually upgrade every year but it's been so bad this year that I kept my 15 Pro Max for two full years.
