I've told today, via email, direct from Spigen:

"Dear Customer,

We do expect to have them in the nearest future, perhaps in next two month.Apologies, not able to provide with more precise information.

Kind regards,

Alex"

I have had another communication back today, this time from ESR stating:
“Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.
Again sorry for the inconvenience have brought to you by the SE protector, yes we have also found this issue and we are now improving this product, thanks for your suggestion.I hope this has been helpful to you. If there's anything else I can do to help, please feel free to let me know.

Sincerely,

....so no clarity on when screen protectors that fit and are specifically made for the NEW iPhone SE 2020 might be out to buy.

I have the Omoton on mine, only been a couple of days but it’s perfect and the framing tool makes installation simple. £7.99 for four.

I just clicked it and it looks to me like it's still available. Also it totally worked/fit my 2020 SE. It's still my personal top recommendation.

Apple stores sell & install Belkin iPhone screen protectors. They use special aligning machines for it and do it for you in the spot, takes a few minutes. 🖐
The Belkin model has the Halo effect.

I have looked for those on Amazon and they will not come up for me. Do you have a link?
It’s not available in the U.S.

I put an ESR like this one on my SE. Yep, the edges don't stick down, because it is too rigid to flex, being glass.

I can live with it, but not great looking. Other than that, I really am impressed with the product. I usually don't use screen protectors because of how they look and feel. I expect the good part that gives it a great feel also causes the issue: rigid glass.

I see they have one with the bezel painted now...I guess so you can't see that it is not stuck down tight?

For the front camera and sensor, are those holes or just transparent circles?
Well, it looks like I'm just in time with this update:

I'll add the Spigen [Glas.tR AlignMaster] to the list of good edge-to-edge screen protectors, along with the Manto. In fact, I'd place it just above the Manto.

Amazon - Spigen [Glas.tR AlignMaster]

Here's the haps: loved my Manto, but dropped my phone on the gravel driveway face down (really???!!, I've had this phone for like 10 seconds!). Screen protector cracked, but saved the phone; can't ask for any more than that in this case. Since I used both Mantos on my phone and my wife's, I had to buy some freshies. Unfortunately, Amazon was all sold out of the Mantos, so I had to try something else. Along came the Spigen (which had previously not existed), and it says it's specifically designed for the SE 2020. However, they also claim it fits the iPhone 8/7 so I knew it wouldn't be curved, but I was ok with that.

I just got it today and I'm very happy with the Spigen. It seems to have smoother edges than the Manto and I didn't need to use the "oil around the edge" trick to get rid of any lingering halo. I just pressed the edges down for a little bit and then it stayed halo-free. My best guess is they probably repurposed their 8/7 glass but added thicker/stronger adhesive to get the edges to stay down. But again that's just a guess - whatever they did, I'm very happy with it. When I bought this the curved Omoton wasn't available (still isn't) and I didn't see any other "SE 2020 only" options.

Hi everyone, been following this thread trying to find a screen protector since mid May and thanks to @dai23 I have!

The Omotom works great, no halo or rainbow. It’s fairly narrow, so only just goes to the edge of the lit part of the screen, otherwise great - 9H glass, rounded edges.

I’m in the UK so can’t speak for international availability but I purchased this from Amazon UK.

@ssledoux here's the link to the Omoton screen protectors on Amazon:

Not got mine yet, they'll be here Tues next week, but it looks like the only ones that work for now (I would normally buy ESR or Spigen, but they haven't come out with one that works for the NEW iPhones SE 2020 yet)

HI @KingCarp

See my earlier post - Spigen HQ have confirmed to me a day or two ago, tat they don't have a screen protector fo the iPhone SE 2020, but they expect to have one in the next few weeks....

The link you share, doesn't take me to specific screen protectors that state they work for the iPhone SE 2020, but I can see these two lower down the Amazon listing (neither say they are compatible with the iPhone SE 2020) - they seem to have taken down any reference to them working on the iPhone SE 2020, due to all the issues people are having (?):

Glad y'all are finally finding a screen protector that works :)

Unfortunately Omoton's option isn't currently available in the US, but I've finally found an edge-to-edge screen protector that's truly curved and installs with no halo!!

It's the RhinoShield 9H Tempered Glass Screen protector.
  • The adhesive is super thick and laid on perfectly. No halo at all.
  • The edge is actually curved. There's still a noticeable edge, but it's less apparent than the other brands.
  • The adhesive doesn't extend to the curved edges, so dust is less likely to collect.
  • The corner radius correct unlike the FLOLAB.
  • It does cover a bit of the screen along left and right, but a negligible amount (talking 1/8 mm as opposed to 3/4 like the others)
Only thing I'm a bit concerned by is that there is no adhesive sealing between the proximity + light sensors and the top edge of the phone, so there's a chance dust may get in there. But thus far, I'm very happy.

Also... I feel like this thread really needs to be merged with the one before it LOL

I know 'am films SE 2020' didn't work for some but it seems to for most.. what do people have against being done with the search for $8 + free fast shipping from Prime?

They're transparent circles, as is standard for edge to edge screen protectors. If you're worried about camera quality through the screen protector, there is a hole in the *adhesive* on those parts, and camera clarity isn't affected... like, at all.

That's good.. I am looking for a screen protector which covers the entire display and also full circle around the Home Button (not just a half cutout). Hopefully the quality is good considering the price difference between Manto, ESR and Rhinoshield.
Out of curiosity, how do you test whether the adhesive doesn't extend up to the curved edges and area for front camera and sensors? Being transparent glass, it's kind of difficult to notice which part is covered by adhesive and which not.

Heh, I just observed it before applying it because I was curious myself.

JetTech have updated their screen protectors in the UK. I emailed them to check they have solved the problem they said they had. I bought and tested the following and I can confirm they have solved the issue on 2020 iPhone SE. Sticks great and no halo at all.

@Whoosh2020 Can you clarify your feedback from Spigen? Spigen's website currently has the AlignMaster GLAS.tR product on their iPhone SE 2020 page specifically listed as compatible with the SE 2020 model. The Amazon page for that product also specifically states "designed for iPhone SE 2020".

finally installed Flolab - yup everything said being true

  • Halo Effect: mine happens on the left side
  • Dust magnet on the edges
  • Borders (all side) being thicker than iPhone SE's not a major issue
made a comment and gave me a refund - as noted, curve on SE 2020 is very difficult to implement for the glass protector.

I might check the Jet Tech one later ..

That model is not the newest one and produces the halo effect.
See my earlier post - Spigen HQ have said they don't have a model (in the UK) that fits correctly with the new iPhone SE 2020 and they don't expect to have one available for realise for a few weeks yet. Other posts on here confirm the same.

I have got the OMOTON this week, which I linked earlier (ad have others in this thread), this does fit the 2020 SE with no halo. It's slightly more problematic to fit, with bubbles being common, but you can eventually push them out....it's not as slick and effortless as an ESR, Spigen or Anker glass screen protector
