I have been using Belkin UltraGlass on my 14 pro max since release day (16. september). Apple Store Amsterdam Geniuses applied it with the machine. And it was perfect on the first try. Last week, I got bored because it didn't fully cover the screen and I took it off. There was a serious gap of about 1 mm on all sides.

I tried both Spigen alignmaster and ezfit models (I live in Turkey and every spigen protector can be bought here easily)
Spigen ones hold more fingerprints, are less slippery and have sharp corners. There is glare in the open air, the glass is like a mirror. You can see a grayish layer on top of the black screen. I've never experienced this with Belkin.

When I say sharp corners, I mean this. Belkin was much more curved as in the picture on the left.

Also while playing apex legends, I have to apply force to my fingers because it does not slide on the screen, the screen resists. Spigen may be better than most brands on the market, but the oleophobic coating is much better at Belkin.

so I ordered Belkin UltraGlass again, and I will have to apply myself at home this time.
I use slide to type a lot and that is where I noticed how much nicer Belkin is. My finger glides over the keyboard better than any other screen protector I have used so far.

Hi all, can anyone recommend a screen shield that goes right up to the edge of the phone ? Have the belkin from Apple and it still leaves a small gap and dust get trapped in that space … if I can find a good edge to edge , maybe it will bump up against my case and leave no room for dust 😎
Hi, you can try SmartDevil ones with black frame. I tried this on my 14 pro max. It is not full edge to edge but bigger than spigen ez.fit.
Spigen is bigger than Belkin but this is bigger than Spigen too.

I bought from here,

SmartDevil for iPhone 14 Full Cover Tempered Glass

Got belkin tempered glass today. Apart from the sizing, it’s great. The ultra glass isn’t available in my country for the 14 pro yet, however I used it a lot on my 12 pro and it felt even better with the oleophobic coating. I’ll switch to that when it’s available. The belkin was cheap surprisingly, $15 for two.
I agree with another poster on spigen. It’s grey. All cheap ones are grey too.

Got my FloLab screen protector in and installed it, looks great. Super easy to install and the fit is great and works with my current case (sonix), I ordered this protector because I wasn’t happy with my previous one (ESR Amorite) and I have to say the FloLab is much better so far.
Did you get the normal or the anti glare version of it? 🙂

Their wimpy frame didn't align the screen protector perfectly so I removed it and tried again. I got it perfect then noticed dust. Tried a few things to remove it but it was over. I'm only using screen protector kits that have that peel-off film to remove the protector as it goes on your phone.
Which screen protector version did you buy? And for which phone? :) How long did you wait for it to arrive? How is the fitting to the edges?

Anyone have a good screen protector that’s lasted? I have had my 14 pro since launch but had to try a few companies already. Started off with Amfilm, was ok but had the halo effect on the sides. Same with the LK I had. Now I’m using power theory. No issues with halo but now I see a hair line scratch across the screen. Luckily I have another one but normally with previous iPhones I just use 1 screen protector for the life of the phone unless I drop it.

I guess I will go back to Spigen if this second power theory scratches easy like the one I have now.

I installed my Flolab (blue light blocking version) on 14 PM launch day — the oleophobic coating is still holding strong and and no miraculously appearing scratches.

Get the Belkin Ultra Glass installed at the Apple store and be done with it. They're aluminosilicate glass so they're stronger and more scratch resistant than your typical ebay and amazon and even 'boutique' screen protectors like flolab, etc. Not to mention they're cut thinner so the clarity is as close as you can get to a naked screen.

I know it's $50 but the quality is beyond all others except maybe Sapphire ones even though those tend to be thicker.

If you're no where near an Apple Store, you could try Zagg's highest end screen protector as it will also be aluminosilicate glass. Those are everywhere at like Best Buy or mall kiosks and they're great quality if you cannot get an Apple store Belkin.

I second this. After going through several screen protectors, I did exactly this. The Belkin screen protector is much better than any of the Amazon ones I tried. Apple had to try three times to install it without dust and they happily did it without complaint. And it comes with a guarantee that if it is defective, I will get a new one that apple will also install.

It was more expensive than the cheaper ones I got from Amazon but knowing I was getting it done right definitely made it worth it to me.

Yup. Their machine installer is key. If they get it installed without any dust underneath, the fit is virtually perfect. No rainbowing since it runs perfectly around the edge.

belkin has a lifetime warranty too, so if something happens they can send you an Apple store version so Apple can install it for you again or the self applied home version if you want to give it a shot yourself.

I believe you are mistaken in most respects.

I might have to try that. I used the Spigen EZ Fit immediately after peeling the film off my phone, and still managed to get fuzz underneath the screen protector. I tried again with the second one, in a steamy bathroom and with my headlamp on full blast to see any dust, and somehow got cat fur underneath. So I’ll either try that LK one or pony up the money to have Apple install the Belkin one.
Cat fur. 🤣 which is why I don’t even attempt to do screen protectors at home! I have Persian Himalayan cats.. nosy ones too.. so I just take the phone and screen protector to work and do it there!

And for what it’s worth I have seen the Belkin and if the one I have on already somehow manages to need replacing (using bodyguardz pure edge) then I’d consider it. But the bodyguardz lasted on my 12 pro max for two years no issues.. so I don’t imagine I’ll need to replace this screen protector and recommend it as well!

Shellrus sapphire for sure. But if you mean best quality with low price I’d probably go benks or spigen
I had 2 of the Shellrus sapphire ones break on me. The first one in less than a week and I didn’t drop my phone or hit it on anything. The 2nd one cracked when I was trying to install it and used a lint roller on it to get rid of any dust.

The FloLab ones work the best for me. Less fragile, fit perfectly and great oleophobic coating.

Yeah sapphire is easily cracked. Were you caseless? I had the IMOs sapphire which is thicker than the Shellrus but it took a hard fall and popped out the Apple leather case and chipped a bit. Went with Shellrus as a replacement since I kinda hated the IMOs logo being visible with the screen off
