Dear Apple (not that you are listening, nor that you care):

Instead of spending more $$$ on senseless and useless and dated emoji(s), could you please spend a tenth of that on your software testing? Geez, so many bugs, so little time…. (No one in their right mind would even install Yosemite… that is, if you rely on your Mac for your income-producing work.)

Get off the fashion boat and get back onto the software train!

There are already too many damn Emoji's to choose from. Are peoples vocabulary so poor they can't use words anymore?

Yes unfortunately. The vocabulary of the average high school graduate has been declining for decades and some studies claim it's now less than ten thousand words.

My favorite parts of this are that bacon and avocado are proposed to get their own emoji.

Tuck

That croissant emoji is so hot right now. Croissant emoji...

No whiskey emoji yet though.

Dear User, we have evaluated your request and came to the conclusion that it wouldn't be a good idea to only have one fifth of an entry level software engineer on software testing.

Seriously. What do you think how many developers are involved with this?

Well said! Who gives a ****** about emojis? Get back to creating decent software with decent useable UI's again!

Emojis absorb too much time. A three second text, but one to two minutes selecting the appropriate emoji to augment the text.

Cool

Oh waw what news, its a perfect update! some do really have a big nose, looool, sadly there are no long tongues as well and long ears ;)

Emoji are annoying

Advertisers are using Emoji extensively to fancy up their email subject lines which is really annoying. I wish there was a way to turn off Emoji system wide as well as simply in the mail's subject lines.

Can't believe there's still no fingers crossed

Maybe on a phone but certainly not on a watch. As more people buy wearables, theses emoji are going to continue to gain in importance.
