Got it, so maybe they won't ship during weekends.

----------

Maybe your package will be sent tomorrow morning.

Yes. I think they ship only on business days. I'll be thankful to ups if they will deliver my iphone earlier than thursday. Hahahhaha :D

----------

I've got this exact tracking (except nothing past China @ 11pm on Friday) I suspect a missed scan at this point.

I ordered AT&T 64GB Gold on 9/28.

When is your delivery date?

When is your delivery date?

Thursday, October 31st (Charlotte, NC)

Last year something similar happened - A huge palette was delayed due to weight. I'm fairly certain I'll get it either Wednesday or Thursday.

Anybody knows when will my phone ship? Since last Thursday, It stays "preparing for shipment" Oct 24-28, delivers by Nov 1

Apple hasn't shipped it yet

I order on launch day, i am totally disappointment at Apple. Horrible, unorganized launch.

Agreed that this was one of the worst launches. I was in line on launch day and couldn't get my units. Then I ordered all of them online and only a few have come. I think what happened was a failure to predict 5S sales and also a failure to supply adequate parts to manufacturers in time. The lack of pre-order as well as order process support also makes it pretty chaotic. The funny thing is that Apple has some of the units in stock at some of their retail stores but aren't releasing them to fulfill online orders first. It just seems like a tactic to get you into the stores so they can "attempt" to sell you on other stuff (except most employees don't hit you up for an additional sale). It's becoming less convenient/easy and more hassle/artificially inflating store floor traffic.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but in all fairness I think this happens every launch, in fact I know it has. I've had every iPhone since 2007. Keep in mind that the roll out has been to many, many more countries than in previous years. Having China launch at the same time as the US has been better because it lowers the number of phones leaving the country, which has happened many times---which then escalates the price (ebay.)

I'd say the only thing that Apple may have fallen down on is to not recognize how popular gold was going to be. Other than that, this has been one of the better roll outs.

Just one moment there!
What do you say about many of us ordered 20 Sept and until today nothing happened?! While many other people ordered even in Oct but still their phones on their hand or about to knock their doors!!

"iPhone 5s 32GB Gold
Available to ship: October 24-28
Delivers: 31/10/2013 by Standard Shipping"

My order even not updated or nothing!
I will wait for my phone for sure
But I am really really disappointed : (

Well, you have me there. Sorry.

To those who order on launch day and are still "preparing for shipment"

i just spoke to Apple, and it seems that they changed the way they ship iPhone. Before, Apple shipped the phones directly from China to it's final delivery destination.

Apple rep, claims that they have changed that, and now Apple is shipping a handful of units to the USA first (maybe Apple headquarters?) , and then will ship to the final delivery address, that way they can get all those orders delivered in time.

Ok, but how can the iphones be sent to UK from Louisville ?

I don't know how it works with UK, for me it's in the US.

----------

And then where do we go from here?

Well from Louisville it's either driven to your state if your near or flown out to your state if your far. Then it arrives at your local facility and will be out for delivery. The next flight from Anchorage to Louisville is in an hour, 6:50 EST.

We've officially landed in Anchorage. Waiting for a departure scan. Then it's off to Louisville, KY? I'm just glad it's in the states now! :)
