Wrong shipment address
HELP ME HERE!!
I ordered two iphone 5s covers and by mistake i entered wrong address.. anyhow, the covers have been shipped and collected by someone else.. i know i screwed up big time, now what should i do? is there anything i can do?

Actually I just rechecked and the address is right :/

Call apple and see if they can do anything for you. Maybe they will ... you never know.
But first, if the address you sent it to is close by, perhaps you can talk to the person who collected it. If it were me I would happily give it back to whomever ordered it.

I just rechecked and the address is correct, but in the UPS tracking, its showing me delivered and received by: Thomas. Location: Office
I dont know any Thomas, and its not an office place, its a residential apartment

Does your residential apartment have a security office, or concierge? Or, does UPS usually deliver straight to your door?
Maybe they might have signed for the package... It would be hard to believe though, that they just give it to anybody. They should ask for ID or something like that, especially in an apartment setting.
They don't ask for ID. I've always thought the same thing.
Abdullah, have you called UPS and spoken to them. Sounds like it's their mistake and they should be held accountable.
FedEx delivered my AT&T 64GB Gold this morning around 10:30 AM PT. They rang the doorbell, dropped the package outside the door and she was already getting back in her truck when I answered the door. No signature required.
Had to leave the phone connected to the computer and leave for work. It was still in the process of restoring the backup from my old phone.

True... but I wouldn't have thought that the driver would have been so irresponsible. "Thomas" has to have been someone in his apartment complex.
From past experience when I lived in an apartment, the security office would call everyone down (who had a package being delivered), and we would have to report to the driveway to pick it up. Then and there, we said which unit we were from, and signed for our packages. When I would not be home on delivery day, I had the management office sign for, and hold my package till I came home.
When I got an ipad shipped from Apple, the UPS person asked me if my name was x, I nodded and signed, and they were off. If they had gone to the wrong place, and someone decided they wanted a package from UPS that they didn't order, they could easily have taken it.
UPS has dropped so much crap on my doorstep. I'm constantly re-delivering people's packages.
I can feel the headaches coming on again...
Good thing the UPS driver that usually comes to my place remembers me. I will cry if someone makes off with my phone.
I order mine on morning of launch day and still says processing, ships by october 24-28. Its unbelievable that i am waiting 1 month for a *******g phone! so frustrating!
Well look at it this way: you're not waiting 1 month for the phone... you're actually waiting a month and a half!
So am I Finz, there's light at the end of the tunnel - it's PREPARING, at least you got some action. It'll ship soon enough, hang in there.

still hanging ! My order was preparing 2 weeks ago also then went back to processing. This is the 2nd time it has been "prepared". Lets see what tomorrow brings.

They dropped the package at you front office of your apartment complex, the "Thomas" is most likely the person that works in the front office everyday. If you go to it they will hand you your package.

The headaches were in reference to the lackadaisical attitudes the UPS drivers seem to have. My complimentary case has been here for almost two weeks, and I just need my new phone to put in it.
The driver who usually delivers my stuff, is pretty good. He knows me, so there shouldn't be any sort of monkey business. Hopefully he is the one who is delivering it tomorrow. Otherwise... oh boy...
My phone is already going to be in Louisville in an hour. It is suppose to be delivered by 21st on Monday to EUGENE, OR. Could UPS actually beat the timing listed and delivered on Friday?
Doubt it, buddy. If anything, it's right on schedule.
If it's on its way to Louisville now, it must stay there until the plane is ready to leave for Oregon. Once it lands, it must travel to the depot designated for delivery. Unless it can leave Louisville, and get to the depot responsible for the final delivery before 7 am tomorrow, it will not be delivered. It will sit there in the facility till Monday.
It's Space Grey. To my knowledge there hasn't been much to catch up on. I can find those everywhere. Now gold ones, no, those are more extinct than dinosaurs.
Yes. If it catches a plane. I've ordered stuff on a Wednesday afternoon, and had Thursday morning. Just depends on how their hubs are working. If anything you'll get it on Saturday.
