I can't tell if your entering the "acceptance" stage of "the 5 stages of grief and loss", or beginning with the first one...

Either way... it's starting to get a little creepy. Almost like when someones trying to stay calm, when a volcano of anger is erupting within them. I suggest getting a punching bag, and taping Tim's face to it... relieve the pain.:D
 
Haven't really seen very many posts here with shipping notices in the last few days.

Have Gold 32/64 shipments dried up?

(My order was 9/20 at 5PM for 64/gold/att from apple.com with the 24-28 estimated ship date and nov 1 delivery date)

I ordered same model but at 3pm and have the same shipping estimates. No change in status for me yet. And Apple store is still offline. I'm beginning to think they'll ship it on the very last day of that range. Hate the wait!! :mad:

my original was Ship date 10/24-10/28. Delivery 11/4. i bitch3d n bitch3d and i got 10/22 delivery date. phone is out for delivery now, :D
 
Apple store closed down, sign says they're updating the store for me.

I fully expect them to have it closed down to update my shipping status and not for new iPads. :coffee:

Hello everyone. We are here today to announce one thing, and one thing only. There are no new iPads, MacBooks, Mac Pros, or Apple TVs.

I am here to personally announce that from this point forward we are halting all gold iPhone production. All of you still waiting, will have to chose a different colour. Except for averlus, he gets his phone. But no one else.

Completely unrelated here, but the new iPads have no gold colour. Maybe Apple is truly struggling to use that gold pigment.
 
I'm just about ready to order all the parts from Foxconn and build my own gold iPhone :( I'm so in distress right now!!! I need it my phone is killin me lately. And I'm mad of people rubbing their 5S in my face like my uncle ugh *eyeroll*

So finally today my card was charged, it's still preparing for shipment.. Let's see what happens next

CC charged: 22 oct (after exactly a month)
Current status: preparing for shipment
Model: 2 iphone 5S 32GB gold T-Mobile unlocked
Available to ship: 24-28 OCT
Expected delivery: 1 NOV

I hope it ships soon, since it says 24-28th :(
 
ew preparing to ship since Friday? I hope when I finally move into preparing to ship it doesn't take that long to be put on a plane. Stay strong everyone, we're in the home stretch!

That's the first thing I thought of too when I saw the new iPads.

I was also surprised that they won't have Touch ID. Will be skipping this gen for sure, even though I love how thin and light they are.

No, after calling three times when it was processing I decided to lay off... but maybe I will if it has not changed by tomorrow morning.
 
Gold is definately the reason why our orders took forever... enjoy the exclusivity of our gold iphones and touchID!!! :D
 
My 32GB Gold has been sitting in Louisville for 15 hrs waiting for a plane to FL. There may be some fights from KY to FL in the AM, not sure how to check. It certainly looks like a 24th delivery date unless the device gets to FL and out for delivery by tomorrow morn. 32 days since launch and still waiting !!!:rolleyes:

2. Received shipment notification from Apple - 1:48 AM EST 10/19/13 ( Almost a month later).

3. Left China 10/19/2013

4. Arrival/Departure in Korea 10/21/2013

5. Arrival/Departure in Anchorage, AK, US 10/21/2013

6. Arrival/Departure in Louisville, KY, US 10/22/2013

7. Arrival in Virginia-In front of my house 10/22/2013 at 2:41 PM EST

Wait time= 33 days

It should catch the plane out of Kentucky, around 3 am tomorrow. Probably gonna remain on track for Thursday delivery.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. There are a few flights out in the morning. I'll look for my status to change when I wake tomorrow. 2 more days !
