I mean no offense to you, but that is much easier to say from a position of actually having your phone shipped. The rest of us on here who likely ordered only a few hours after you will have to wait what appears to be 2-3 MORE weeks for our phones to arrive, in addition to the wait you endured. I agree completely that the people assembling the phones are humans who deserve to be treated and paid well. But I don't believe that's an excuse for a large corporation like Apple to treat its customers that way. This is my first experience where I actually considered leaving the Apple "ecosystem" (which I'm completely bought into at this point).I understand the frustration. My phone was only shipped today so I felt it too. One thing that is helping me get through the wait is remembering that real people who aren't being paid much are working around the clock to get these phones made for us.Real people. They are not machines. The conditions are not fantastic. We want our phones, yes, but we should not forget these people. Just my thoughts. Take them or leave them.![]()

Tim Cook's announcement:
Hello everyone. We are here today to announce one thing, and one thing only. There are no new iPads, MacBooks, Mac Pros, or Apple TVs.
I am here to personally announce that from this point forward we are halting all gold iPhone production. All of you still waiting, will have to chose a different colour. Except for averlus, he gets his phone. But no one else.
Good day to you all. *runs off stage*![]()

Yup, I'm on the same boat as well. As it's closer and closer to the ship by date, I find myself refreshing the status page more and more. I think I have a problem. Is there a cure for this?Well I am still processing. Hopefully it changes to preparing to ship soon since tomorrow will be the 24th. *praying*
5:11 AM. My phone has been in Louisville for 27 hours now. No movement. I'm going to send a cab to pick it up. Ridiculous.
