Sept 20th orders with October ship date, Apple.com buyers. [MERGED]

Ordered 20th Sept iPhone 5s 32GB Gold
Available to ship: October 24-28
Delivers: 31/10/2013 by Standard Shipping

But till now nothing changed
Its not possible

Are they working in china Saturdays?
This is frustrating :(
 
32GB golds seem to be the most popular for launch day pre-orders. They do work on Saturdays in China but the couriers might not. Still awaiting my 32GB units but at least 64GB units shipped and arrived last week. Meanwhile 5C models are in stock almost everywhere. I played with several last week and they seem more solid than the 5S units. Apple should have just made the 5Cs into the flagship model.
 
Ordered Sept 30th got notice this morning that phones are shipping. Delivery date says by Nov 4th. Ordered 2 64 GB Gold on AT&T
 
I ordered on 9/20, 11 PM. I reserved a gold iphone at best buy and target, but neither received gold, so i ordered one late night friday.

Order charged: October 22nd
Order Shipped: October 25th(today)
Shipping Speed: Next day
Estimated delivery: Tuesday, October 29th

However whats weird is that on UPS.com it says that there are 2 buisness days left in the shipment, but i ordered the next day shipping...

Not that I don't want you guys to get your phones, but... How the heck is this fair?! I ordered on launch day and mine hasn't shipped yet! Ordered same model... The system is seriously screwed up! :mad:

Same it was originally Nov 1 delivery, but on ups it says delivery is the 29 of OCT also.. And yes I think they do work Saturday, my order has departed zhenzhou.
 
How did you do next day shipping? I did expedited and of course that hasn't helped. Still processing =( suppose to deliver Nov 1 by 2-3 business days

We are on the same boat, this is ridiculous... more than a month to ship a phone, and some people that order after the launch day already have it!! :mad:
 
Do not need to check website again and again

I just think that when it changed to preparing for shipment, we do need to check the website again, just wait for the text message. when the message come, it shipped.
 
My order on Oct 3 is also finally saying Preparing for Shipment.
My Sept 30 order shipped around 3:40AM Friday PST, and says estimated delivery of Oct 30 on UPS site. Is there any chance that it may get here before the UPS estimate or is it usually accurate?
 
So far it's still in ZhengZhou.

Good for you. I ordered 32GB Gold AT&T on September 21 I am still in the preparing to ship category. Go Figure.

This thread was originally for those who have October shipping date, but the mods merged them with another thread and named it orders on Sept 20.
 
While I cancelled my online order and was lucky enough to get a phone in a retail store, my brother stuck it out and his phone just shipped last night!!

Gold 64GB Sprint
Ordered: Sept. 27th @ 3pm (standard shipping)
Preparing for shipment: October 24
Shipped: October 25th (still in China)

Apple ETA is November 4th, but UPS says ETA is Oct. 31st
 
Looking at the all over the board shipping dates on these orders points up what appears to be mass confusion and disorganization on the part of Apple. They have seriously screwed this up and created a lot of very unhappy folks. Do they even have an official response as to why this is happening?
