Is it just me or is the new sport band way more comfortable than last year's?

the sport band bundled with the white ceramic feels better than my old sports bands for sure. not sure if this is the only one or if all new ones are like that

Bought the Nike Obsidian/Black sport band and I love the dark blue colour contrasting against the glossy white case!

Upgraded from Series 0 space black stainless steel to Series 3 white ceramic. The white ceramic is beautiful and elegant, and I reallly like its look paired with the Milanese Loop bracelet.

An outstanding upgrade, overall!

Is there a noticeable different battery wise compared to the series 0? I’ve still got my series 0 and I might upgrade to the Series 3.

Based on my limited experience with it, yes.

I exercise daily, and my Series 0 had to be topped up during the day to make it until bedtime — during its first full day, the Series 3’s battery didn’t need topping off even though I exercised longer than usual.

I don’t have any finely-grained data on this, and look forward to seeing the results of others’ tests.

I do the same, I go for at least a 30 minute run every day, I find that by the time I get back my Series 0 battery life is down to around 75% (that’s after being up at about 5am) working for a little bit then going for a run around 10am, times differ tho. I have the 48mm Watch, hoping to see some improvement in the series 3 battery wise before I upgrade.

How well would the ceramic gray wear with dress shirts? Any opinions? I am torn between the ceramic gray and the Hermes SS (Ebene). I do regular sports and like the idea of the minimalism/simplicity of the ceramic with the „stealth luxury“ aspect of this being the edition AW.

Not sure anyone posted this yet but if you guys love Ceramic Watch, just watch this Hodinkee review. He compares Ceramic Watch to Ceramic mechanic watch costed $8,000.
Btw, the grey one looks great!

Battery life is night and day. I don’t exercise, shame on me, but I get up and shower and put the watch on at 6am full. There is certainly some battery degradation going on. As I remember it in the beginning, I would be at 30% at the end of the day. Lately by 8pm I’m getting the 10% warning. Only 1 full day on the S3 so far, but I charged it day 1 and put it on at 10pm when I went to bed. I put it on the charger last night at 8pm to top it off and it was at 58%. And I was using it a LOT more than I used my S0.

Back to the gray ceramic, I like the base band of course, the black sport loop is nice and the obsidian Nike band looks great. I am thinking the dark olive is going to be the best. I am returning the 2 woven nylon’s. I just don’t like the abrupt narrowing without some kind of taper like the rest of the bands have. I think I’m also going to return the ones I bought from Amazon.

I ended up ordering a black stainless. I spent so much time trying to figure out if the grey was for me, that I finally realized that spending that much time to make an easy decision was my answer all along. I appreciate all the info you all have provided me in this thread though. Thanks for that.

I will be wearing the grey next week at work, so will come back with my findings...

I “only” have a series 2 Nike space black right now with way too many bands but watching this thread avidly. Bought mine rather late, a few months ago and now the Apple Watch is firmly integrated into my life.

The next treat or present I give myself is the ceramic edition. White of course

It looks gorgeous. All my bands will go with it and it seems premium. Somehow I don’t get the attraction of the Hermes thing. I mean you could buy a stainless steel watch and throw a band on it (real or fake) for a similar effect. The ceramic ... now this ones special.

Thanks for inspiring me. I’m wasting way too much time thinking about this and just need to keep away from an Apple store until a special day. May end up waiting for series 4 just to be sure I’ll be happy with it for a inter period. Pretty sure there should be a form factor change next year

I think the premium pricing is due to the exclusive watch faces, packaging, and the orange Hermès sports band...

The Hermes premium is really due to the hand made leather bands. Hermes leather is simply the best in its class. The orange box, watch faces, and sports band are all nice extras.

Ya that’s why I got my wife a SS with a hermes band.

lotzosushi Sorry, but IMHO various sport bands (Red, black, grey, midnight blue) Nike sport bands (anthracite and dark blue), charcoal grey and midnight blue leather loop) will look great :)

Here are 2 more. The black sport loop and my new favorite the obsidian Nike band.
[doublepost=1506200627][/doublepost]Black woven nylon isn’t bad. The wife is going to kill me if I keep all these and the other 2 coming and end up with a new watch and 6 or 8 bands.
HINT: Get the Nike anthracite sport band and the charcoal leather loop too ;)

Would love to see the new charcoal leather loop on the grey ceramic

I’m glad the gray matches the same gray on the new iPhones! I cant wait for mine to arrive in a couple weeks.
