Hadn’t checked this thread for weeks, but when did it become the Nike watch thread? Congrats, you saved a ton of money opting for an aluminum version, now let’s get back to more photos of bands. :)

Still loving my ceramic grey AW.

Was thinking of pairing this with an olive sports strap. Anyone done that? It’ll match my olive case on the SG X

Which Ceramic Edition: white or grey ?

If grey, it might look good s I also like it on the Space Grey aluminium watch... :)

Hey all,

I noticed today a scuff/scratch on my white ceramic. Was it silly of me to assume this couldn’t happen due to it being ceramic. I meant to purchase AppleCare, but am 3 days too late now to purchase it (my mistake). Anyone have an idea how to resolve, or the cost to fix?

can we see a photo please ?

I’ll try and get a pic in a bit and upload. I agree, I figured it’d have to be a pretty hard impact to get it to scuff like that, which is what surprised me. Every time I’ve accidentally hit something with the watch, I instinctively examine it just to see if there’s damage, which is why it surprised me when I noticed it this morning just putting it on.
[doublepost=1512496747][/doublepost]Had a couple, but the server only let me upload one. If you want more, let me know, but you can see it in the corner.

bummer, that is a biggy. Looks more as a crack of the ceramic material ?

Sorry I am not an expert on ceramic repair but can't you polish it away ?

It’s hard to tell from the photo but, it looks like transfer from the object it hit.

without getting into the moral/ethical issue, i believe you can get apple care via a diagnostic test done by iTunes on your home computer.

Agree with Otflyer - from the photo, it looks more like a scuff from the other object. Seems like something you could polish off easily. I doubt the actual white ceramic is scratched.

I run 25+ miles a week in mine, do yard work in mine, etc and so far I love the white ceramic. I'm careful, but not "completely" obsessive. Honestly, I'm more concerned about the screen than I am about the white ceramic body. It really seems to hold up well.

Magic eraser would probably remove it in a jiffy.

*Not responsible for any damage caused. But, can't imagine it would hurt it...

Never heard of the products but I just saw some great cleaning results on YouTube. I would say give it a try :)

I’ll give the magic eraser a try, why not. I’ll let folks know how it goes!

I thought it may be transfer as well, but no amount of soap and water and scrubbing would remove it. Feeling over it it feels very smooth.

To get back to the subject...here's my White Ceramic S3 with Cosmo Blue leather loop. Love it. Getting 48h+ of battery life which is welcomed news but very surprised...anyone else getting such joy?

Leather loop is stunning on the ceramic. Using the grey with midnight, black and charcoal...makes it special :)

Just purchased a 42mm series 3 white ceramic refurbished from Best Buy for $530. Couldn’t believe my eyes. Also bought a refurbished 38mm ceramic grey series 3 for the same price. Outstanding.
