Series 3 Ceramic Edition Owners Thread

Here is the white ceramic with charcoal grey loop.
It’s got a great finish to it. Looks seamless with the watch which I love.
Looks essentially black in most lighting. I would describe this band as soft almost matte black and the classic buckle black as a jet black.
I do notice the magnets moving with wrist movement tho.
I tried the black classic buckle on at Apple and can’t decide if I want to keep this one or swap it.
Will probably decide after a few days with the loop on the wrist.

Just purchased a 42mm series 3 white ceramic refurbished from Best Buy for $530. Couldn’t believe my eyes. Also bought a refurbished 38mm ceramic grey series 3 for the same price. Outstanding.

IMHO better not use the silver lugs from the classic buckle on a ceramic white...also the gen 4 Classic buckle has a huge buckle...but that is just a personal taste

PS this guy http://stores.ebay.com/chargerstore/ has new black leather loops (genuine Apple but without a box....old stock as Apple do not make the scholar anymore.) Santa Claus came early this year. I could purchase from a friendly forum member his brand new Nike Pure Platinum Sport Loop and I love it. The Apple black Sport Loop looks much more brownish and this one true black with a grey tint

Yeah I seriously couldn’t believe it. Too bad I love my hermes series 3! The Edition is beautiful though. Gonna sell one to my friend and not sure what I’ll do with the other!

Looks very nice exactly like my Nike+ Apple Watch. Outside the glossy ceramic frame, the ceramic gray does look very similar to space gray Nike+

Concerned I opened up the rest of the packaging and found the clear plastic wrap to be removed from the white Apple Series 3 box! The box was covered in dust. Opening further the white plastic wrap was removed from the white hard case. The watch was in the box and the protective plastic wrap around the watch was still intact. Am I crazy to want to return the watch and order another one in hopes that I truly get a brand new one???

Derail? The way I see it is you made the edition purchase and chose another route. The edition is expensive and your story has been informative. After reading your experience I can relate.

Nike Series 2 silver
Edition Series 2
Edition series 3

The SS is a dress up watch if anything for me. The Nike feels cheap. The white series 2 edition I need to sell.
The white Series 3 edition is on my wrist nearly every day.

The only other watch I would consider is the SBSS.

I never considered the Hermes.

Sharing your adventure has helped me in deciding if I wanted a second series 3

Just went there to try on the charcoal leather loop with the grey ceramic, so I could see it in the flesh and work out my right size (borderline at 175mm), but they don't have ANY leather loops in store!? This is a flagship store and they don't have all of the limited bands Apple sells!? I will have to now order both sizes and cant even compare together as the medium has a 10 week wait, large 3 week... Annoyed! Rant over!!

I have a 185 mm wrist and went with the medium leather loop after trying the large size. The large band nearly wrapped back over the watch face.

Thats why i gave up on the loop. I also have 185mm wrists and found the large band almost wrapped over the watch where the medium sized band wasn't quite long enough

Yes. There is about 1.5” overlap. It’s just right. If you want it, order the medium. You can always return it but, I think you will like the fit.

It's so annoying not being able to try one on! Can't believe they don't stock at least every style of band to try on.
