That was exactly what I did the same time as you did (3:11 when I completed the 44 mm SBSS purchase and got the confirmation email). No big deal for 1 week delay for the watch. To me, the phone is the priority.

I haven't done the in-store pick up before. I am curious how much time I need to budget to pick up my watch (I can set it up myself).
My check-in time is 9/21, 10:00-10:30a. It looks like they have a 2nd step called Ready for Pickup. How long do you think I will be there?

I'm so excited! I pre-ordered mine first thing in the morning (stayed up most of the night). My gold Apple Watch Aluminum with the Nylon Sport loop will be delivered on Sept. 21st! I'm just looking for a bumper case now. There's hardly any that will come before that Friday...

Ordered 40mm Gold Alum at 3:10 on Apple Store App. Got confirmation email at 3:11. Entire amount on hold on my credit card since I got to work yesterday morning. Has been showing PTS for delivery 9/21 since yesterday afternoon. Trading in my 38mm Gold Alum for $225. Still have to make arrangements to transfer Apple Care or get a refund. I ordered the sport band this time since I already have the sport loop. I love the loops

Yeah. Even after I had ordered, I browsed through some of the other models and they were all 9/21 delivery until after 12:10ish.

Quickly ordered iPhone XS on iUP first after a delay in the store coming online for me. Grabbed a 44mm SS for myself and a 40mm AL for my wife (her first, she wanted the less expensive model) with a couple bands. Completed order at 12:10 PDT and the 44mm SS still shows Oct 5-12 while my wife’s 40mm AL is showing September 21st.
I think they seriously underestimated SS orders. On the display before order confirmation it showed September 28 to October 5 or something like that and then changed on the final screen so I’m hoping since I just barely missed the cutoff that I’ll at least get bumped back to that earlier window. So far no luck but I remember my iPhone X moved up massively so there is always hope.

I also have the same one ordered and dates, I am pretty sure dates will move up, based on my previous iPhone preorder experiences the past several years. So expect it to arrive well before September 28th, if not on 21st.
When would we expect to see that start happening? I assume these are going out the factory door to UPS Sunday (in US, Monday in China) for delivery on Friday. Would they somehow ship after Sunday and still be delivered Friday?
I ordered myself a Gold Stainless Steel 40mm Gold Milanese loop cellular + GPS Apple Watch at 8:30pm. I had no idea I was getting one, and then my godfather hit me up and was all like I have $3500 for you in an account I opened when you were a baby, how do I get it to you. Hah! I always get lucky like that with my apple products. Something similar happened with my iPhone X last year. But was a couple weeks after release. I’m always apart of these things so I’ll start with this template:

In my experience with iPhones, they always shipped out for me 9 days after ordering, but that was not during pre-orders, 2 weeks after usually, and from AT&T. Hoping for a similar trend here, but with iPhone pre-orders those people usually got screwed so hoping Apple Watch is different. Anyone else in the 12-19th boat?
