First time EVER I fell asleep before setting an alarm for the order. Woke up at 12:43 am PT and was able to get launch day delivery orders of the XS but the AW4 (SBSS and for the wife SS) say Oct 5-12. Bummer, happy for all you folks and I'll have to live vicariously through you until ours show up, hopefully Apple can beat their estimates.

Has anyone else had an extra pending charge for what look likes AppleCare?

I have preordered 2 Apple watches worth $1986 including AppleCare which apple has charged my credit card for on Friday night of pre order. My order is now preparing for shipment and I have been charged another $258 which works out to be AppleCare for both watches. I presume one of them will drop off? Anyone else had this before?

Thanks for the update. How did you track? Using Apple order number minus the last two digits like we can with iPhone tracking?

I assume my phone number won’t work for tracking as it’s not an iPhone?

Use the phone number you used at order time as that would be a reference number anyway.

Or UPS MY CHOICE.

To track, go to UPS’ website and head to “track by reference.” Then paste in your Apple.com order number, but SUBTRACT the last two digits.

I’m having my watch delivered to my office so it won’t show up in My UPS. Is there any other way to track it before getting the tracking #? Sorry just saw the answer posted while I was posting.

Decided today to upgrade to the AW 4 ... I had a hard time justifying this one since I have the series 3 Super excited for all the great new features and screen size I was surprised to get a 9.21 pick up date in store vs a month wait via delivery. My Gold Max is being delivered on the 21st but now I have to go to the store to get my watch wish I would have known and could have gotten them both at the same time oh well. It will be kind of fun to see all the excitement at the store and I am so glad they give you a specific time for pickup

Ordered a SS AW4 at 3:11 and got a confirmation email at 3:12 due September 21st. Still no sign of movement, currently “order in progress”. No charge on the CC either.. Maybe I’ll get pushed back a week??

Tracking number just hit my MyChoice on UPS. Put in the request to hold at my local Customer Center. As soon as the exception clears all I have to do is wait until Friday!!

I had a quick look on Apple’s trade in website, to see what I could get for my Series 0 42mm Apple Watch (still 100% in perfect working order) and they quoted £50.

Is this the going rate for a Series 0 Watch ?
