I dunno, but I'd take the plasma TV, depending on the rules (disclaimer: I didn't read the article). But if it was only 6 months of abstinence, okay, I can handle that. And if I can take care of myself in those 6 months *ahem* then my vibrator is better than most of the men I've slept with anyways, so I'd definitely take that offer.

The average American watches 4 hours of TV per day, no? If I have to replace my TV watching with sex......then yes, I'd be tired.
Eh. I've had enough sex in the past few years to last me a lifetime. I just need a decent TV to watch Lord of the Rings and 'Lost' and I'll be happy.
I'd go nuts watching a 50" plasma TV for six months.
Especially in my small living room, where I'd be way too close (two metres) to watch such a large TV comfortably.
