Curious does this screen shield scratch easy? Does anyone see any scratches on there's already? Thanks

No scratching here yet either. I don't leave my phone with anything else in my pockets though...in general, sometimes it does meet keys.

Still looks like new, love it :D

Ive had mine now for a week and wow this thing looks and feels amazing! However I thought the install was pretty hard. I used the shower technique and still managed to get one piece of dust under the screen (not a big problem since it was small and the screen protector left no bubble around it). It was hard to line up (possibly due to white reflection problem). Its too far down so it covers the home button a little. The home button sticker was near impossible for me to straighten so I just gave up and went without one. There are also tons of scratches on it already.

On the left is a long bubble that still hasn't gone away and on the right its chipped... not sure how it chipped it wasn't when I put it in my empty pocket but when I took it out the top layer was chipped.

Also a long bubble on the top just like on the bottom left (hard to see in picture, sorry)

Wish I had better luck however I would buy it again!!

From your pics, it looks like the Glas.t is not quite centered. If you look at the home button it looks like the protector is down just that little bit too far, hence the bubble that won't go, and the cracked piece. :(

Just my 2 cents worth, no criticism intended.

An easy way to apply this Glas.T screen protector is to carefully put on the home button sticker first perfectly aligned.. Clean your screen really well, then use large piece of tape to take off all the dusts..

Then run the Glas.T under the sink with water and carefully align it onto ur screen. (Make sure your phone is turned off when u're doing a wet install)

Since you already put the home button sticker on, and the sticky part of the screen protector is wet, it should be really easy to install since u have the home button sticker sticking out as a guide and the water would let you make minor adjustments before you push it down.

After you're happy with your alignment, use the squeegee to push the water out.

You can easily use a thin razor blade to pry off the Glas.T screen protector if you want to redo it again.

I hope this little guide would help other Glas.T owners in the future!

Oh so it's a software problem? Yeah I hope SGP learned that lesson. I'm quite interested in this protector. But how do you remove this protector if there's dust stucked under it? Doesn't seem easy.

I'm questioning it too. It says "the back side is covered with a strong silicon adhesive", which would make it more difficult to remove dust. But let's see...

sounds pretty good.

I applied the GLAS.t a couple of days ago, and I love it! I was, however, worried about aligning the protector correctly because it is a one shot installation. So I wanted to share the technique that I used for anyone looking for different tricks/tips.

I applied the home button cover first to aid in aligning the bottom of the screen protector.

Before peeling off the protective films (there is one covering the adhesive side, and one covering the top of the protector), I lined up the protector and using tape, I marked the edges of the icons of one of the center vertical rows of icons. I then cleaned off the screen, making sure there was no dust. And then I peeled off the protective film over the silicon adhesive (marked '2'). I lined up the protector with the home button and the marked off icons. (You'll obviously want to change your settings to prevent the iPhone from autolocking while you're trying to line things up.)

Make sure to LIGHTLY place the protector in position. This allows you to do any additional adjustments by nudging the protector into place. Once you have it aligned to your liking, then you press down the center so the adhesive will set.

I had a cluster of small bubbles (no dust or anything in the centers) that no amount of squeegeeing would remove initially, but they disappeared within a matter of hours.

It seems like a tedious method, but I found it worth it.

Case with Holster

I just ordered the screen protector and I need some help on a case to go with it. I work in the construction industry and need a rugged case i use to use the oteerbox defender but the plastic screen protector scratches to easy and bugs the hell out of me. So can anyone suggest a case to protect the iphone and it needs to have a holster. All help would be appreciated.

Has anyone used the home button yet. Is it really needed ?
FYI its a pain to put one the white phone because on certain angles it looks off but it really isn't lol
Great screen shield though, came from a anti glare

I posted a reply in the reusable thread. Check it out.

Can you confirm that you did in fact use this method to apply your protector. With the different adhesive in use, I am skeptical that the water under the Glas.t dries with no trace.

Yes you need it.

Yes, I applied my Glas.T multiple times with no water nor bubbles under the screen.

Absoluty amazing protector, couldnt recommend it more.

Will this work with the E13ment hybrid (or non-hybrid for that matter) case?

I tried it with the Graft concepts leverage case and couldn't help but always end up with bubbling along the right edge. The vapor pro case seems to fit it fine... but I'm sick of the GPS issues with mine!

i love it .
just want to say this is the best screen protector !
well worth $30...
no more $5 for 5 ebay covers that looks all scratched up after a few weeks not to memtion not smoooooth at all :)

Put one on my 4s and love it! So then I put one on my wife white 4 and now her proximity sensor won't work!! We had this issue with a few screen savers as well. Any chance that after a a few days this might fix itself after its completely "bonded" to the screen?

Has anyone noticed after a while the edges tend to bubble ?

I'm running into this issue. It started small, slightly inward from the left edge. I don't use a case and have contacted SGP because it's growing...has become quite the annoyance. Here's a pic look hard on the left side, it's tough to notice in the pic and it's bigger in person.

If you look through the thread I posted pics of mine doing the same thing at the bottom. SGP replaced mine, all I had to do was send them some pics. Mine however started away from the edge and went to the edge. Pics provided in the thread. I'm going to leave mine on as it doesn't go into the viewable screen.

Hmm, I have yet to have this problem....

Guess more time will tell.

I just purchased my first iphone (4s) yesterday, and actually had this screen protector waiting.

In an impatient rush to get it on right when I bought it, I managed to get my fill of dust, etc.

However, I can tell that this protector is awesome, and worth the 30 bucks. I'm worried about taking it off and risking the chance of re-installation after 24 hours (using tape to get rid of the dust, and maybe installing via the wet method).

Any thoughts?

I could live with it as is I suppose, when the screen is on, it's tough to see the dust.

Thanks in advance!

I've seen these before. Good idea and they're pretty good quality. But the thing is, they're kinda thick compared to the normal film PET screen protectors and their edges are kinda visible.

How does everyone feel about their Glast after owning it for awhile?

It seems like mine's oleophobic coating has worn off. When I first got it, it was as good as the iPhone's naked screen, but now it's so prone to fingerprints, and it takes a good amount of wiping for them to come off.

Now mind you, I have clean hands. Not very calloused or anything, so normal natural oil/sweat secretion can appear on my hands throughout the day.

I guess it's just like SGP's regular oleophobic screen protector where the coating wears off after a few weeks.

It sucks because I really like the protection, but not at the cost of the phone looking ugly and dirty.
