Good thing I didn't dump $28 on this and got those $11 Dre Beats instead.

$11?!? Please, do tell! I'd love to get that deal.

Unless of course you're talking about knockoffs, in which case, meh.

TIA

I just order one but my only concern is if it work with a Element ION 4 Case.

Someone posted that the ION 4 dont work with a Ultra Shield.
Will my Glas.t happen to have the same problem?

Great Thread!
Thanks

If the case's lip lays on the screen then you're going to have a 99% chance of having issues. Bumper style cases are your safest / best option with the Glast :)

Thanks for the quick answer man!
I think i'll pass the ion 4 then.

Mine arrived from Korea today.
Have it installed after 3 tries - just a group of 5 tiny bubbles I hope will eventually disappear.
Used the shower/humid plan to keep dust down, but still had to remove micro specks twice (OCD).
I put 2 pieces of tape on the front at top and bottom to help me hold/align as I lowered it on the phone.
I am using the Element Formula 4 case - so no interference at the edges.
It is noticeable more clear and bright than the SGP Ultra Optics I had - I know, a trade off between glare/smudge resistance and clarity. A quick test use surprised me - I can't see any fingerprints.

I also installed one of the buttons - required for me because of the thickness.

If anyone works in a microprocessor fab facility please let me know if I can stop by the next time I do a screen protector installation.

UPDATE: I put some weights on top of a book on the phone overnight - bubbles are gone.

i have been using mine for a few weeks not and it has been great, managed to get it on pretty good and been using the supplied button.

Mine is on the way, but I'm not so sure about the buttons. I probably will try and go without them.

Is anyone else not using the buttons?

My 2 finally arrived today. Got them both on my wife's 4s and mine as well. Used the 10 min steam shower technique and it worked ok. I found that using a lint roller to remove the dust particles worked well and allowed me to remove the Glas T several times till I got it just right.

Like the feel, ended up using the buttons to eliminate some of the gap that happens to the Home Button.

I will have to say that the White install seemed to go easier than installing one on a Black iPhone.

Got one after all the good reviews I heard about this Glass screen protector. Purchased one for the whole family!:)

One screen protector for the whole family, are you going to have a time share type of a thing with it or some other scheme?

After purchasing two of the screen protectors I ended up using one for my wife's and ended up contacting SGP about the defective one. The second one I had ordered seemed to be missing some of the adhesive that held it together to the glass. We will see how this turns out.

Finally felt brave enough to put this on my iPhone 4S last night. Managed to do it well in a steamed-up bathroom. The clarity of the screen and its relative finger-proofness is worth the $ and effort.

I'm still rocking with my Power support clear protector, but I might try this soon. :)

I was using a Power Support Crystal clear protector before this. I really love how this SGP GLAS.t feels...yes it is thicker, but it feels smoother and like the original screen.

I also just switched from a power support crystal to the glas.t.

Over one week of use and I'm loving this protector. I think it's head and shoulder above everything else I've used.

Power support was great but it did accumulate many scratches over 3 months. And was never this smooth.

The anti finger print coating on the glas.t is amazing. It's so easy to wipe away any smudges.

Just received my two GLAS.t screen protectors today. I haven't put one on yet but if the first one goes on perfectly(or close to), I may sell the other one.

Just opened one of my GLAS.t boxes and SGP included a gift card for $7.77 off any case they sell. If you need a new case to be able to use this, that's a pretty good deal.

Well, I screwed up both of the installations.

The first one, I put on too high. The second, well I can't remember right now what was wrong with it but I took it off and put it back on perfectly but there are a few marks on the screen that I just can't deal with.

I also bought the SGP Ultra Blitz case because I knew that it would work with the GLAS.t but that case is just too slippery for me. It's a really nice case but I prefer the PixelSkin HD case that I was using for grip protection.

So there goes that $88 experiment.

That Sux

So I delayed putting my one for some time because of all of the tales of whoa here on this thread.

That was a mistake on my part as it went on easily and without the need of a hot shower and without misalignment.

I dont understand how anyone can mess this up if you have done the following:

1. Clean the surface with the swab provided and make sure you get the very edges of the glass surface.

2. Install with a bright overhead light so you can see the edges and the alignment clearly.

3. Drop lightly and as close to perfectly aligned as you can. Lightly nudge with fingernail to get into place (if needed).

4. Press in the middle

5. Work out the air bubbles before you remove the top protector

6. Turn over and put something heavy on the phone for an hour or so to flatten fully.

Done.

If air bubbles remain you probably did not clean the surface and edges well...so do that right the first time.
