0.4 mm thick
That is quite thick for iPhone 5 isn't, I just hope I won't feel odd when pressing home button?

well from the reviews and all it seems for some it does, thats why they included the epoxy coated button set or something .
I bought a GLAS.t for my new iPhone 5 and received the "pre" model and the "updated" model (which was cut to the final dimensions of the phone). I have to say that I was VERY disappointed in this product -- although the glass surface feels nice, it is IMPOSSIBLE to apply one of these without getting any dust underneath it. Unlike film protectors, you can't peel these things back and remove trapped dust with tape -- if you try do, you end up with MORE dust underneath.
I'm sending mine back for a refund and will be sticking with film -- which is cheaper and more reliable -- from now on.
Mine was ok (on iPhone 5):

I paid $650 for my iPhone 5 64 GB -- so yeah, I'm "cheap".You are IMPOSSIBLE to please then, because this is an issue with all screen protectors. Using tape to remove dust on cheap garbage plastic screen protectors only applies glue from the tape and makes it look even worse. The only reason you're happy with regular plastic screen protectors is because they're cheap.
I have no idea how you reach the conclusion that cheap plastic screen protectors are more "reliable", either.
This is looking quite awesome, are you using Epoxy Coated Button? if you are using without "Epoxy Coated Button" - how does it feel when press home button? any odd feeling?
I am not using those button, not too odd feeling though, feel ok.![]()
Edit: Well, that didn't take long. Just took the screen protector off and immediately noticed a difference in weight. Too bad that hair got under there, or I would have kept it. Even after I took the screen protector off, I could not remove it with tape, it took rinsing in water. The hair had essentially become part of the adhesive.
Does it weigh more than the 4S?
I took the screen protector off and I don't own a 4 or 4s, but from using my coworker's 4s today, i'd estimate that the iphone 5 w/glas.t weighs the same as a 4s.
Image
The iPhone 5 GLAS.t weighs 0.4 oz.
The iPhone 4S weighs 4.9 oz. and iPhone 5 weigns 3.95 oz. With the GLAS.t on, the iPhone 5 weighs in at 3.99 oz., which doesn't come close to weighing the same as the iPhone 4S (of course, I'm not saying this is a big weight difference for most things but in this case, it is since the iPhone 4S and 5 has a weight difference of not even 1 oz.
Are these a lot better then the reg sgp ones?
Yes. The glas.t protectors are pure tempered glass. There's nothing that looks/feels better than a glass screen. This is just like the iphone's actual surface. All other screen protectors are plastic regardless of what nonsense they're coated with.
3.95 ounces + 0.4 ounces = 4.35 ounces, not 3.99 ounces.
I now have the ultimate protection package. Otter box defender with crappy protector removed + glas.t installed. It's my temp setup until element case starts shipping iPhone 5 cases.
