I would love to hear how these hold up to scratches.

Did it come with instructions on how to remove it?

Are either of you going to put a screen protector on it.....:D

THanks for the reviews. One time shot scares me a bit. Although because they are thicker they should be easier to install and manipulate around the iphone.

It was MUCH easier to lay down straight and perfect in one shot, then a normal flexible one. It was easier then I thought, but none the less, scarier at the thought of screwing it up.

How did you apply it? Or should I say what was your method of lining it up? Did you try and line up the earhole or home button first? or did you try for the side?

I got over top of it, looking straight down on it, lining up the earhole as center as possible, then the home button, hovering over the top of the phone as close to it as possible without touching it to the glass. Once it's down, it's down, so the trick is to get it as close as possible before touching it to the screen. It sounds more complicated than it was.

I wish, being a piece of glass, that it was washable and re-useable.

ULtra shield

I have been using the Ultra Shield for the Iphone 4 for a couple months now. It is equivalent to the SGP. I am perfectly happy with it, no dust, bubbles and feels great.
Only complaint is that I cannot use my Element case Ion 4. It is perfectly fine with the Magpul Field case though.

No, not at all. The camera operates the same, with no noticeable loss in quality.

Have the bubbles gone away yet? I received mine two days ago but have been afraid to install it! haha.. i don't want to mess up the install!

Home Button Covers?

I received and installed mine today.

For the install, I ran the hot shower and installed it in the bathroom, as the humidity will keep the dust down. I was able to get a perfect install, without a speck of dust anywhere on the phone. That made me VERY happy, as I'm a bit OCD when it comes to dust under the screen protector.

You get ONE shot at installing this. You can't remove it without ruining it. Once it's on, it's awesome. It feels like a naked iPhone screen, and CRYSTAL clear. Really nice at repelling oils from your fingers too. There is absolutely zero drag or friction, and it does feel like a brand new screen.

Since it's 4mm thick, they give you some button covers, that are like a softer material and bubble like, with the same square design on it, so it looks like nothing is there. It helps raise the button so you don't feel the 4mm gap when using the home button. This is a fantastic feature, and really does help the overall usage.

I'm using the ZooGoo iPhone case, which is a TPU style (only softer) material, and it seems to be OK with it. I tired the Switcheasy Vulcan TPU case, and it started to raise the shield in the corners and sides.

Tolerance is TIGHT on this. You need to line it up exactly perfectly, in one shot. That's my biggest issue. If you blow this, you're out $28. I almost had a panic attack making sure I lined it up perfectly. Sweating bullets in a steaming hot bathroom, and holding my breath applying it, like I'm a sniper with a 3 quarter mile head shot... This was nerve-racking. For $28, they should give you 2, or build an installer into the box for a perfect fit.

All in all, if you line it up right, install it in a clean environment, have a steady hand, nerves of steel, and $28 bucks to drop, I say it's an awesome screen shield worth every penny.

BEWARE, this is going to give a whole of cases trouble. Make sure if you're using a case with a lay on the table design, it goes over onto the glass enough, so it doesn't interfere with the edges. It will raise the shield easily since there's a 4mm edge to snag.

After the install, there IS some slight bubbling along the VERY edges. The instructions say they will go away in a couple of days, I'll come back and let you know if they do.

Did your screen come included with the Home Button covers? If so, what did you think about them? Do they make up the difference between the thickness of the Glas screen and the iPhones home button?

They cover the difference and then some, essentially giving the home button more of a convex shape than concave. They're also epoxy coated, so they should take quite a beating, that being said, they're also.. jelly... for a lack of better words. The best way to describe them is a super smooth, hard, jelly. It's somewhat difficult to explain but I love it.

I'll put up a picture to better describe the shape, should help :)

it would be cool if the glass was held in place via a snap down case instead of whatever goo it is using, then it would be washable and re-useable.

Could somebody compare the size of the GLAS.t with the ultra crystal? I am currently using the Caze Thinedge and given a properly aligned application there is no bubbling or interference of any kind. Now, I love the idea of having real glass, but since this product is non reusable I don't want to waste $30.

Another thing that worries me is the thickness. Essentially four times as thick as the SGP UC is a lot. Do you have to use this convex home button sticker or is it still usable without? Would you say the edges are sharp/rough?

I would be interested in a comparison of the hight and width of the GLAS.t in comparison to the Ultra Crystal. I guess the dmiensions (except for the thickness) are exactly the same, but it would be really helpful if someone could confirm that. :) Thx!

i just ordered the Ultimate class, they are the same price as the glast but whats the point of putting a glass screen shield on top of a glass screen ? if you drop it you will have either two broken glass screens or atleast the screen shield will break.

No screen-shield provides any protection against impacts. It is about preventing the surface to get scratched.

Does anybody know a retailer/online store that ships to the UK for a descent fee? SGP charges more than $13.

what battery cases does this screen protector work with?....if any.

It will basically work with any case that doesn't come over the glass so pretty much all of the battery cases out there. I know for a fact that it works with the Mophie JPA and JP Plus since I use both of those daily and have had this SP on my phone for about a week with it.

One negative with the Mophie cases. Since the SP is so thick, the small lay on the table that the Mophie cases give you is gone when using this SP.
