Thanks for the photos! Although I do like the black silicone better.

I just ordered a neo hybrid ex in revention yellow yesterday and i just got an email this morning saying it already shipped! Wow I'm very surprised, will definitely post pics when it arrives!

yeah i like it with black silicon too instead of white. it just looks better overall.
that's very fast shipping!
looking forward to your pictures! :D

Will most likely getting the SGP Neo Hybrid in Dante Red. Will post pictures if I order. Still debating on the perfect iPhone case. I am very picky when it comes to this stuff. So far, I have narrowed it down to the SGP Neo Hybrid, the SwitchEasy Vulcan, the SwitchEasy CapsuleRebel, and the Case-Mate Hybrid Tough Case. Any suggestions or experiences with these cases?

My bro has the SGP Neo Hybrid Matte in Champagne Gold and that thing is pretty tight!! I say go for the SGP or the Case Mate.

Haha all totally different cases buddy, but I'd definitely say the SGP Neo Hybrid by far.

I'm currently using CapsuleRebel and no doubt it provide very good protection, I believe it does while holding it.

I tried going naked but don't feel secure handling it. With the capsule rebel, I don't fear to toss it around haha.

Still waiting for my EX. Check out SGPStore, they offering only the frame with dock plug for $9.99

Yeah, I'm pretty excited about that, I can't wait till they are offering this in more colors.

which one is the better buy? SGP NEO HYBRID or SGP NEO HYBRID EX?

haha yeah i know that much, but i want to know peoples opinion who have both cases, which one is better :p

I have both and I prefer the EX over the matte for one reason and one reason only: the sag syndrome. When I first received my matte case, it was tight all around. after about 3 or 4 weeks, the back of the case (the silicone) began to sag ever so slightly. It got to the point where holding the case was just annoying enough that prompted me to order the EX. I actually like the Apple Bumper but because my 3rd party cables don't work with it, made it useless for me. With the EX my cables fit and I have bumper like style.

I've had my Neo Hybrid EX in satin silver for a couple weeks. I love it. I complained it was too slippery, but if there was some type of coating, it wore off. Or perhaps I'm just more accustom to it.

Get the EX. It looks better.

EX it is :p. going to get the yellow one. i have the otterbox commuter, and i am also experiencing the saggy ness on it >_>.

these look good but i'm concerned when people say they're slippery in your hand. i'm assuming the grip on these aren't great?

Look what I just recieved in the mail.. not sure what it is: :p

i want to get the silver one but is not available for $9

i already have a full frame with the rubber part

so i dont want to spend another $30 just for the outer silver frame

Reventon Yellow Hybrid Ex Quick Review

I just recieved my SGP Neo Hybrid Ex in Reventon Yellow.

My first impression: Pretty cheaply made IMO. The Silicone is a non grippy silicone which IMO feels horrible in the hand, I'm scared I might drop my phone. As far as looks go, looks pretty good for sure, my only concern is how uncomfortable I am holding it. Volume and sleep/wake Buttons are easy to use, and pretty responsive. Decent lay on the table design. As far as the charger port, will work with only SOME 3rd party accessories, did not work with my Incase Dual Charger (the one with the bigger adapter), with my hula case, it worked fine. The headphone jack, kind of small, probably will work with only certain headphones. This looks almost exactly like the Apple bumper, the only thing better on this case is the access to the ringer switch is easy to get to and the fact that it comes with screen protectors. And the fact that you can change out the VERY fragile bands to different colors.
Overall: I'd perfer the Apple Bumper over this because of the grip when holding it in the hand, everything else to me looks almost exactly the same besides what I mentioned above.

With that said, I'm very disappointed, I was expecting a lot more of a better product when I purchased this due to all the hype that was coming from this case, as well as the looks. If they made the silicone a lot more grippy like the Apple Bumper, this could be my case of choice. That is my biggest complaint.

My Case-Mate Hula is still my favorite bumper style case, with tons better grip (without attracting lint), easily usable with every 3rd party dock, chargers, and headphones (that I've used, quite a few), and the clear band lets you see the stainless steel antenna, does it get any better? There's not much more room to improve in a bumper style case. But I won't knock this case just yet, I will give it the benefit of the doubt and I will give it a shot and use this case for a few days or until my phone slips out of my hand, and I'm very careful with my phone. Lets see if the results change from my first impression.

Lets get to the photos, sorry for the horrible lighting, wasn't at my house.

One more small complaint: Not sure if you can see it in the photos but the outer plastic doesn't line up around the volume buttons evenly, the volume buttons are slightly leaning up but the volume buttons still work fine and are responsive as if they are still right over the volume buttons underneath which makes me believe this is just the way the case is made, I took this case off and then put it on again a few times, didn't seem to fix the issue, this an issue with anyone else?

Compared to other bumpers like the Apple bumper which is more grippy because the plastic part is slightly tacky and the rubber edge is grippy. For the EX, both the rubber and the plastic frame are smooth and don't offer much if any grip at all. Not a huge deal for me but it'd be nice if it was grippier. It's definitely better than a naked iPhone though.

Agreed, you couldn't have said it better. However for me, grip is a HUGE issue. I have fairly large hands, and constantly holding my phone, and grip is what keeps it from slipping from my hands. If I drop this phone once, this case might go back to SGP.

would you guys think this would be a better buy than getting the gear4 the band bumper case?

To anyone that has had this case for a month or so, how does it hold up over time? Does it look like the day you took it out of the box?
