Just got mine and love it. Everything about the case is excellent. Firm, clean, very confident having my phone in the case.

Did not think about the color when getting it but happened to be the same tint as my Jeep, love it even more.

No more scratches from the Apple Bumper as the entire phone is held in the silicon with the frame securing it in place.

Once my new debit card arrives I will be buying the SGP Neo Hybrid in Smooth White and the SwitchEasy Pure Anti-Glare+. Will have a double review up in a few weeks.

Just received my Dante Red and I must say that I'm not too terribly impressed with the case :( Really wished this would've come out nicer but the plastic ring/bumper is REALLY flimsy. Plus it's a little too slippery for me. Think I'll just stick with the Apple Bumper for now. Bummer.

I just got my Satin Silver this weekend...

Initial impression - I really like the feel of it. Yes, it is not as "grippy" as the Apple bumper, but I honestly felt the Apple bumper was too sticky. With the Apple bumper, I had problems taking the phone out of my pocket as it would get caught on the cloth of the pocket (particularly with jeans). This bumper is a little slicker and doesn't seem to catch.

I also like the finish of the plastic frame. It is smooth and I like the variety in the colors... as opposed to the bright neon Apple options, this is a bit more up my alley as far as color preferences go.

It was a little difficult to put on, but not exceedingly so. Took me a moment to get it on, but I didn't need to apply any unnecessary force to do so.

I'm curious to see how it holds up over the next month or so... The Apple bumper started to get stickier and more rubbery over time, so I'm using that as my comparison.

Thumbs up from me so far.

Does anyone have one of these on with some sort of clear protection product on the sides of their phone?

I'd imagine it would make the fit very difficult.

I have some LuckyLabs side decals on mine. The rubber ring goes on without any issues however it does make getting the plastic trim on a little harder. Once I took the case off, it did sorta peel up the side decals however not to the point where I had to trash them.

I figured as much.

Thanks for the response!

BTW, how difficult was it to take the plastic ring off once it was on? I imagine much more difficult... not sure if you can compare the experience to a naked iPhone4.

Not too terribly difficult. You can pretty much wiggle it off (with a little effort, of course). It's way harder to get the case on than it is to take it off. This step, obviously, is where your side decals can get messed up.

I felt the same way, I'd say give it the benefit of the doubt and give this case a chance. I felt the exact same way as my first impression when I first installed this case. I thought it was horrible and very slippery. And I have gotten used to it, didn't slip out of my hands, yet. Knocks on wood. But my impression of this case completely turned around from hating it to it being my fav case. I say give it a chance.
