Emailed Jason (guy who sent out the disclaimer emails) with my order ID and got a refund processed email back in 1 hour.

Is this a good screen/body protector to buy? I was considering it until I read 2 pages where people were returning theirs, etc.

Cretouch tells me I'm only getting one back replacement film even though the EX Crystal Set comes with two. Ridiculous.

If I don't receive two, I'm sending everything back for a refund.

Cretouch.com has same policy as SGP for this recall. They are giving refund for full price for EX Crystal film as well as shipping price. I just received the full refund from them. And you don't have to return your EX film back to them. They said customer can just have it as complementary gift since this film has defect. Great service.

And there's nothing wrong with the film. I have used differnt kinds of film for my old iPhone 3GS. Their film is the best out of all others in the market. If you literally buy all other brands such as Powersupport, Incredible Shield and do some comparison, you will notice the difference in films. Don't even try to compare cheap films with these. Their Steinheil film is absolutely best.

So my impression on this chain of posted messages is, it's Very funny that everybody is complaining the quality of film just because there's no cut out for LED flashlight.

I used cutter to cut out small piece of film(triangular shap next to hole for back camera) for LED flashlight. So I made the hole just like on their new diagram. And for front camera, I don't need to have cut out because it doesn't really effect the quality of camera since it's not anti finger film type which needs to make the screen little blurry.

So I ended up getting EX film for my iPhone 4 for free because it's still usuable and the film is great quality. This is just piece of film. Defect, because there's no cut out? Why don't you just cut it out yourself and keep the film as free.

I'm really happy that I purchased this Defected(?) film before they correct this issue. Thank cretouch for great customer service.

Do you work for cretouch?

That's shady

That's shady! It seems your happy with the product, but asked for a refund anyway? That's not only shady, but cheap too.

Haha, no one can seem to get their **** right. Wrapsol's quality has been reportedly terrible for just about everyone. SGP only wants to do a cut out for the back. And PS which wont ship until the END of July will only be doing a front film. Oh well, I guess it'll be a SGP on the back and I'll change out the front film for a PS one when it becomes available.

email I received today indicates the crystal ex series they're getting by the end of next week will have cut outs for camera/flash on back AND FRONT.

So much confusion over this issue...

Yeah I know they keep going back and forth. Was the e-mail a response from something you wrote them, or an official statement they forwarded to others well?

Was a response from Jason when I asked for clarification on when these would be back in stock.

Looks like the EX Crystal Clear shields are available for order on their website. Is anyone going to order them??. I feel like placing an order but no sure if the quality is going to be good or not. Any opinions???

I'm using a set of the original (no flash cutout) EX Crystal films on my phone right now. The film for me is very good. I did not encounter the bubbling problem that some have reported. Maybe I got lucky... Maybe I'm just really good at applying the film...

I just got an email that the replacement film (with the flash cutout) has shipped to me. The email makes it sound like I'm getting a brand new set of everything, but I'll wait until I receive the package to be excited...

I'm using the film on front and back, along with a bumper for my phone. I used the rubber-like side strips only on the top and right sides of my phone to take up the slack in the bumper.

So far, I really like the product. Will be better now that the flash won't create a blue cast.

Hmm anyone else receive this email? Because I haven't.

I should have clarified my last post... I ordered from cretouch and they're the ones that said my replacement film shipped today.

Granted, I get the feeling the SGP and Cretouch are "related" in some fashion.

Ah ok. Yeah, I think they are 'related' too. Both are located in LA, and their website checkout uses the exact same format. Strange, but if they're shipping out already then SGP should certainly be doing this now as well. I've seen an instance or two where cretouch gave fake tracking information though. Let us know when you receive one.

I have the anti-glare fingerprint resistant version of the SGP screen protectors, and I want a refund because there is no front-facing camera cut out and it seems to effect the quality of my FaceTime conferencing. I e-mailed customer service and have not received a response. I paid via credit card. This is ridiculous. I was planning on buying more products from them in the coming weeks but it looks like I will not be purchasing from them anymore, and will be filing a complaint and credit card chargeback if they do not deal with this amicably.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to say Cretouch gives out "fake" tracking information. It is only USPS shipping. I think they prep the package and this generates a "shipped" email. The post office probably doesn't get the package into their system until later that evening, or even the next day.

Since I also live in SoCal, I'll probably receive the package before USPS gets the tracking info updated. :)

I'll let everyone know what I receive and how it looks once it shows up.

Right. Well, I've seen where someone claimed he was given a non-existent tracking number, and another instance from this thread where a guy was given a tracking number stating his item has shipped, cool right? EXCEPT, they supposedly never had the actual product in hand so whatever you want to call that, it certainly isn't kosher. Not to say you won't receive yours, in all likelihood you will, but cretouch is very suspect and SGP customer support is borderline garbage. I'm still holding out on the replacement though because I actually find the quality and clarity of the film to be quite nice compared to other films available now.

I agree with everything above. I've also read the not so good stories about both companies. SGP customer non-service is actually why I ordered through Cretouch. Cretouch actually replied to my email question.

Just received and installed my Steinheil EX crystal screen protector.

lets see, where do I begin.
For starters, I got one which does not have a cut out for the front camera. No biggie.

I installed the protector, but not matter how hard I tried, I got a tiny bit of dust underneath... Now they say to use a piece of scotch tape to bring the tape back up. Well I did that, and by doing that I the screen protector wont stick down anymore in that corner. I got the dust out, but now it wont stick down.

Also not matter how hard I try, I cannot get the area around the button to stay down. Its perfectly centered, yet it wont stay down.
Looks like I am going to ask for a refund.

For fun, I tried to install the Ifrogz Luxe to see if that would help with keeping the corner down, but the luxe is so tight fitting, that it pops the Steinheil film up.

So, its either return the film or find a new case.
I have one more protector included in the package, but I have a feeling Im going to get the same results with the button on the iphone.
