Ok here are some snaps after the install, and also the reason for the install. Also there are download links to full res versions if you want to get really close
A bit of a long post, but hopefully will help some having issues around speaker and the home button.
One sunny day I looked down at me new iPhone and saw something indescribable.... a scratch!!

The scratch did bug me, but I accepted it, just would of rather it was on the back.... where it is the only place it should of had a chance of being after the way I wrapped it in cotton wool... but oh well, I must protect it from more!
Initially I purchased an invisible shield which I only planned to use on the back, and a griffin matte front. They were in a 'Buy 1 get 1 half price' deal.... But I really couldn't handle the matte after an hour or so, they didn't have anything else, and I wasn't putting the other anywhere near the front of the Retina display after a previous 3GS experience and seeing the back orange peel effect.
So a bit of research lead me to this thread, I knew the 'Power Support' shields weren't available as yet, and I had heard of issues with the 'SGP' shields, but I also heard a lot of good about the Crystal fronts. So off to ebay, ordered, then it arrived.
The install went a bit dodgy at first, the home button got itself stuck under the shield as it didn't separate properly, and before installing I could see that the speaker and home button displayed a slightly ringing which I thought might lead to problems others have had. Anyways, sorted the home button, no air bubbles... other than all around the left side of the speaker, a bit on the right, and then around the left side of the home button. There was a bubble and then a ring a bit past the bubble, it seemed no matter how much I tried they just kept coming back
I put the bumper on and was going to accept them for now, and then go with a 'Power Support' set once they arrive, but the OCD kicked in a bit, and the bumper was removed...
I wrapped the squeegee in the little free cloth, and started working the bubbles in different directions, took about 15 - 20 minutes, but the bubbles and lines I couldn't get rid of previously I managed to work them out... well happy
Well time for some pics....

The Invisible Shield is staying on the back for now as I know it does a great job at protecting, and I'm really happy with 'SGP' on the front, unless you really look for it, you don't know it's there, the clarity is superb....
So if you have some bubbles, I admit mine weren't quite as bad as pictures in this thread, but they were the same kind of bubble and line effect... So give it another go, and hopefully you'll have some joy.
Cheers
Giz
p.s. when I took the pics I did notice the slight effect underneath the speaker, but you can't see it normally (marco lens used for photos), and I'm not tampering anymore
