I'm assuming that's related to the boket effect applied naturally in the new lock screen? Even though you really don;t make use of it here (as far as the foreground blocking the time)...

You are on the right track, I think. It's not a bokeh effect (which is the blurring of items that are out of focus, usually in the background) but probably more of a depth of field effect, which senses what is foreground (and in focus) vs. what is background (and either out of focus or at infinity focus).
I’m sure they used tons of machine learning to detect horizons and render that effect. Be interesting to see what other little tricks like this will show up.
They are only about 10 years late from Google doing much of this kind of stuff. But that’s fine. These effects are cute when deployed sparingly. But I don’t want to see snow falling in everyone of my Christmas photos, indoors and out.

Hey does the iPone 6S fish wallpaper actually exist? Still not seeing it after the Beta 4 update (I have the Clown Fish).

I’ve been using mostly the Astronomy Lock Screen, but I have the bug some others have of the green dot marking my location always visible.
I wish the moon would move down when you swipe up the same way the earth does. Also, it’d be nice if other planets/celestial bodies were available. EDIT: the moon moves down now, it didn’t before.
I’m also seriously considering switching my phone’s language to English, cause the weather in French uses too many characters and it is almost always truncated. I’m sure they could find a way around it, but sadly don’t expect them to.

I’m still annoyed with all the wasted space on the lock screen but man, did Apple create a beautiful new concept here. The combinations are endless. Still holding out hope that the layout design will be tweaked to make better use of the space.
When you click the fitness category in widgets (or any category) you can swipe through different versions of how you want it to look.
Edit: Hmm, I don’t know if that’s what you’re asking now lol. I’ve only ever had one circle.
