Just received my Apple keyboard from BB. Now on to cancel the Staples and Apple order.

Probably no need to cancel it from Staples. They cancelled mine (doesn't even show up in my order history anymore), and didn't even bother to email me to tell me they had.

Oh, and all this after I was promised by a rep this morning that it would be shipping out today. Uh huh.
 
The hunt has ended! Best Buy came through and Smart Keyboard was delivered today. I am typing this post on it right now! I cancelled my  store order so hopefully that will move some poor soul waiting for theirs further up in the queue! Good luck to everyone out there.

They did this to me TWICE. Thank goodness for Best Buy (never thought I would hear myself say those words!). I will never trust Staples again.

Hmm the order is still active if you track order from the email, but doesn't show up in my order history.
 
Theoretically they can't charge you until the item ships. I'll call them tomorrow and see what on earth is going on. If you see one somewhere in the puget sound, let me know!
 
Best Buy has removed in store pickup from the product page. I wonder if that means they'll have some for Black Friday and don't want people scooping them off the website instead of coming into the store. I love this iPad btw.....

Happened to me too.... I hate Staples. Happened to me 4 times now. They are trash of the earth!

I tried best buy for door busters and they didnt have any on the shelves unfortunately - no biggie was on the way back from my cousin's house where we did thanksgiving.

I talked to 2 reps today and they claimed that the order hasn't actually been cancelled, just held until they get stock. They still believe that the delivery date holds.

I sincerely doubt that. My order status has updated to 0 items ordered, for a total of $0.00.
