I don't hate them (well, sort of...) but mine has been stuck in Newark since Sunday at 5am. WTF?

Whenever I ordered something from Apple the 'prepared for shipment' was followed by the shipment notice only one day after.

My iPhone is due to ship on July 22 - that's ten days from now.



Can I expect my iPhone to arrive early or could it possibly be stuck at the current state for the next days?

Difficult to say. There is nothing typical any more. If you ask me, it will ship early but then take an absolute age to get to you!
 
The lovely neighbor across the street signed for mine! So it's in safe hands UNTIL I GET BACK FROM VACATION!!!
 
Still waiting on mine, but I'm sure it'll be here soon. We've gotten stuff as late as 7.

That said, I would like it to come so I can stop jumping up to look out the window every time I hear a diesel engine.
 
bah! still not here. I'm starting to have that sinking feeling that I'm going to get "phantom-deliveried" today. Which would be very annoying considering I took off from work to be here.
 
Got mine around 2pm :)

No issues so far, the signal does go down because of the left bar, but i never got below 2 bars. Overall i'm pleased!

For all those waiting, it will come :) i thought it would never come at the pace that things were going.
 
My order still says "in progress" but it doesn't list under "back ordered" anymore. Can I expect this to ship tonight and arrive tomorrow? I can not deal with an absolute basic phone anymore im going crazy
 
Overall, I'm impressed. No proximity issue, camera seems fine, no yellow. But, I do have the reception issue worse than my sister's phone. Oh well. :D

I know what you mean...I missed work for a delivery that never happened... :confused::confused:
 
i think i have a slight yellow tinge in the bottom right corner but hardly really. i have to really look for it and i think my eyes may be playing tricks on me because im trying to see it.
 
June 29th order for a 16gb. Still no update on the apple website =(. All I get is a "not yet shipped"
 
Am I the only one, or has anyone else left the plastic on the front and back today? I'm waiting to take the back off until i get home and get it into a case. the front, I guess I'll eventually have to take it off before I get a screen protector. was on a call earlier and it was all muffled from the plastic being over the speaker haha.

Got the same exact tracking as you. My phone is scheduled to be delivered on Wed. I hope it makes it.
 
I'm probably not buying my 2 iP4's until Mid-August. Should I order them online or just go to the stores? Because it seems like people who go to the stores haven't been waiting but people who order online are waiting 2 weeks to a month, but I haven't really put all the pieces together.

So...what should I do? :cool:
 
So far everything works great on the phone. I have the reception drop issue, it's very minor for me. It'll drop to 3 bars at worst, but stays at full bars the majority of the time.

Yeah, mine is scheduled for Wednesday, too, but I am traveling Wednesday morning. I'll put the signature sheet out there, but I was hoping it would come early so I could get it before leaving. Why the heck would they hold 'em in Newark instead of sending them on out?
