just to say if you live in the uk and have "shipped" for a iphone 4. you use the 9 digit code that you can get of the order status on the us apple store site. Go to tnt worldwide website and say your location is united states. It will then come up with all the tracking info using this 9 digit code.

Same here but why would it take so long to get the phones to us from Alaska. I see no reason why my phone could not be in New York on Saturday.

There is still a chance for 7/2 delivery. There are 3 Fedex flights to Memphis in the next 30 minutes and multiple flights out of Memphis to east coast cities that would work. Now let's see if we make the first leg out of Alaska. You can to flight aware and see all the options.

I am not holding my breath but it would be a nice surprise.

+1 Just got my 'Order Shipped' - hoorah!!
But won't be delivered till July 7 by 10:30am - uugghh!!

I, too, placed my order around 11pm on June 15.

The July 7 is 'estimated' so I will be checking FedEx every day till then and track my order. Take note, on June 30 @ 11:58am, my iPhone 4 details 'received after FedEx cutoff' and then left FedEx origin facility same day @ 12:20pm in Shenzhen, China. I hope it's in the air now! Maybe I'll get it sooner! Or just like my iPad, it will sit somewhere until July 7. These next 7 days will be torture!!

Update: Just got the 'Int'l shipment release' today in Anchorage, AK. Hoorah!! it's here in the States. I live in the Los Angeles, CA area so my iPhone 4 is this much closer!

Yeah that would be sweet but like you I am not holding my breath. If it does not arrive 7/2 then what? Will Fedex deliver on a Saturday with standard shipping? I guess not. And Monday is a holiday so then we are looking at Tuesday only one day before the scheduled 7/7 date. Well, well Apple never promised anything else so I will not complain!

I hope you are right but estimated delivery date is still 7/7 for me. Tomorrow would be far sooner than I ever expected.

This is the first and last time I will ever order anything from Apple online. My order has been in the "Prepared for Shipment" column for more than two days now and is suppose to ship by 7/2 which is tomorrow. What I do not understand is why some orders that were not placed until 6/16 have already shipped. My order was placed at 9:00 pdt on 6/15. I called Apple earlier today and they are still promising shipment by 7/2. It already shows as a temporary charge on my credit card. So I'm assuming that it will ship at some point and time. The only question is when. I just don't understand the holdup. Anyone else feel the same or have the same problem? If it does not ship tomorrow I am really going to be pissed.

Maybe we will wake tomorrow morning and find that we are in the "shipped" column. Then we can start tracking Fedex for the next several days. In a way this is somewhat aggravating, but then again looking on the bright side it's kind of fun. When Apple said it will ship by 7/2 I took that to mean on or before 7/2. So technically they still have a chance to save face. We shall see.

I can't see it being delivered tomorrow, although that would be awesome. Once it gets there, it still has to come down to Florida to you. The delivery trucks are loaded up early in the morning so they can get on the road to begin doing deliveries around 8am or before.
I'm in NC, much closer to the Memphis dropoff, and I don't think that will even have enough time to get to the depot here and be loaded up. I'm expecting to see it on Tuesday.

However... the FedEx facility is only an hour from me, so if it arrives there tomorrow and is held until Tuesday, I'm going to see if I can drive over there and pick it up instead of waiting 3-4 more days.

someone has to be at home to sign for it. If you leave a note with your signature to the driver at the door, some will leave it and let that suffice, but it's hit and miss

Sign for. I am sure if you look around the Fed ex site you can print out a form to fill, and tape to your door so they leave it.

I call Fedex to ask about having to sign for a package and the agent asked if I had a tracking number....which I did not. So evidently there is something in the tracking number that indicates whether or not a package has to be signed for.

How do you know we made it out of Alaska? My tracking has not updated since arrival in Anchorage. If my phone is on that plane for Memphis I may very well get it tomorrow. Ordered mine Jun 15, 2010 at 11:35 PM PDT. It's been "prepared for shipping" for almost 3 days. My wife ordered hers on the 16th and it shipped yesterday. I ordered the 32GB version and she ordered the 16GB that's the only thing I can think that would be holding things up for me. It's kind of a bummer to see the phones shipped out of order. I'm a grown-ass man but I must have my toy!

Update: Holy cr*p!! In just a span of about 5hrs, my iPhone 4 has traveled from Alaska to Oakland, CA on the same day! (10:04pm PT). It is now just under 400 miles away from me now. I could very well get it tomorrow right before the holiday weekend and well before the estimated July 7 delivery....ssswweeett!!
