"Ships by July 2nd" - Now Prepared for Shipment!

Why are the shipments noted as an exception, i.e. exclamation mark?

I've had no update since Friday night now. When I phoned TNT yesterday they said it was still on schedule for the delivery tomorrow (5th July) but I will give them another ring today just to confirm.

Is there anyone else with their iPhone still saying it's at Arnhem??

Hi guys, my first post but I've been lurking and reading for a few years. Never really had a need to post because I would almost always find the answer trough search :)

Anyway. Need help with something which seems quite strange with my order. Ordered 2 iPhone 4 16 gb and 1 iPad 32 gb 3G on june 20th. Got an estimated shipping date to 2nd july and delivery on the 5th (this was later pushed back to shipping on the 5th and delivery on the 7th. However I got a note that my order had been shipped on the 2nd of july. However, the also claim that it will be delivered 15th-17th of july. Whats up with that? over 2 weeks in transit? And I can't seem to find any tracking number yet either.

Any ideas? Thanks
 
I phoned TNT and they told me there is a bit of a delay updating the tracker on line. Currently my Iphone came to the East Midlands airport on Saturday so I am still hoping for a Monday delivery but i am not that confident.

I am going to ring them back tonight to get another update and hopefully they will be able to confirm wether or not the phone will be out on the van in the morning

I've downloaded TNT flight schedule. there is no direct TNT flight from Hong Kong to UK only through Belgium .


If the shipment still in Hong Kong the next flight to Belgium is on Tue (6 July). Then the next flight to UK is on Wed (7 July).


So I think it is impossible to deliver the iPhone before 7 July.

not yet but it seems like all our phones first go to the netherlands and are then being flown into the uk from there. Given that it arrived in Arnhem today (+ TNT to slow to update systems) it may be on a flight to the uk in the evening. Else it's gonna be tuesday.

I was told it arrived at the East Midlands Airport on Saturday. Ive had no update with the TNT tracker to tell me anything else. I will just have to give them a ring later to see if its going to come on Monday.

I hope to that there is a problem with the updates to the tracker system. Otherwise the schedule is getting kinda tight.

I looked at the Hong Kong departure schedule and TNT is not having their own planes every day. Two of there planes are running under Emirates flag. But even though I don't think that you can make up the planes and routes for TNT unless it is those from TNT directly to Liege. I have seen tracking informations where they were coming through Frankfurt. I also seen many different times for "Hong Kong Shipment In Transit" so I would guess that this is not the actual leaving time of the plane but instead the loading of the airplane container.

Also as far as I know Arnhem would mean they get to the UK by truck. Wouldn't make much sense to drive it up from Liege to Arnhem and then back or to another airport.

Conclusion: We just need to wait for an update by the system to see what's next. Or call them.

I'm exactly the same, tried using the "Our Delivery Reference Number" but it's ten digits and doesn't work. I'm in the UK.

Try http://store.apple.com/us then login same as UK store. You should see a 9 digit tracking number which you can use to track TNT . It won't tell you much though mine hasn't updated for 3 days.
 
Hello to all. I too am waiting.. seems jammed since transit in HK, so keen to know what's going on.

To clarify, and apologies if this has already been discussed, I have TNT - others seem to have DHL. Are they working together in some way?

Makes sense now, looks like you don't get a tracking number if you order more than one item till its left the distribution center where the order is combined.

thats the point we dont have a 9 digit number to tack with, plus u need a pin number to track your order on the tnt website ?

i can only find the 10 digit number anyway! ;/
