I heard sense UI is quite good and has certain functionality that the stock android phones do not is this true?

Sense is pretty good looking, but I found that I liked stock Android better. Sense provides some different widgets and weather animations that stock Android does not have, but you can always download new widgets from the Marketplace.

Go ahead and try Android, you'll only live once. So then you can know what platform you truly love. If you're serious about getting Android though, wait for the next Nexus. At least you won't wait for ages for getting a software update.

Is it optimized for the specs because that things a beast i don't want its power wasted?

No idea...we'll find out Tuesday! I'm still using the OG moto droid but if the razr ends up being as amazing as it sounds, I'm going to have a very difficult time deciding between that and the 4S

I would wait for the Nexus Prime to come out, since that will be the first Android phone with Ice Cream Sandwich.

My suggestion for you: maybe it would be better to focus all your energy on something like learning how to code iOS apps.
Jailbreaking and tweaking it might be another way of getting your kick.

The size???

Ok, what size? Is it too big to hold, too big to fit in your pocket, or is it just too big to be comfortable around?

There isn't a big difference in the actual size of the device for something like that.

iPhone 4S (3.5" screen): Height: 4.5 inches (115.2 mm), Width: 2.31 inches (58.6 mm), Depth: 0.37 inch (9.3 mm)

Samsung Galaxy SII Epic Touch (4.52" screen): 5.11 x 2.74 x 0.38

So, for another diagonal inch of screen real estate, the device grows half an inch on each dimension. Not really that much difference in practical use.

I do I am an apple dev in training and I do jailbreak my iPod 4 but iOS 5 has fixed nearly all problems that I had with it just want to try some thing new.

Now is a great time to try out Android! Honeycomb is just around the corner. HTC is a great company to look at. I know they are coming out with a newer phone with a smaller screen, as they know not everyone is interested in a 4+ inch size screen.

I have an HTC Inspire 4G that I played around with to test out Android for about four months. It's great and has a lot of customization available. However, I like iOS's simplicity and vastly superior app store. I hated having to go deep into Android's settings to find the feature I want.

Try it out though and see how you like it! It will make you appreciate iOS more at the end of the day I bet. ;)

I love my android phone and don't see any reason to get an iPhone 4s. To me it's a down grade.

see this is why i sometimes don't feel like getting an android any reasons why what features make it suck and is android optimized for specs because I could have quad core i7 extreme edition with 32 GB of ram but if the software is not optimized then it will be a waste right? i am still gonna get an android phone but....
