Deathbear, that is a beautiful picture of a woman! How did you know what my GF looks like? Lol just kidding.
i have tried them all and i think 'layers' is the best drawing/painting program out there....my 2 cents.

This is a great thread!!! So much talent on here!
I can't wait to get my iPad and one of the paint apps. I have sketchbook pro and brushes on my iPhone.
Once I get mine I'll start posting my stuff (which is horrible cause I have no artistic talent) but I have fun with it anyway
Any takes on which app is closest to Corel Painter? (I love painter and would love if they'd make an iPad app but I know that wont happen).
Awesome stuff!
Having a mobile art studio was one of my primary reasons for buying an iPad. I even sketched out my next Marvel cover concept on it (which was subsequently approved and I'm finishing on my MBP right now.) Making quick color studies on the go has never really been possible before without hauling around a watercolor set.

Cheers!
Here is one using Sketchbook Pro. There are a few features I'd like to see such as a favorite brush feature and a gesture based eye dropper tool.
If you push and hold on the color you want the eye dropper comes automatically. (if that's what you mean)
Just saw the new Brushes update is out. Don't have an iPad yet, but it looks like simulated pressure sensitivity and brush smoothing has been added. Very cool!
From my wife. It's not completed yet so don't let her know I shared!

The worst thing just happened to me. I lost over 3 hours of work because the sketchbook app crashed on me. Can't believe this happened. This is one of my better drawings too. Why isn't there an automatic save feature?I feel kinda sick now.
