I don't know, but this looks really interesting, I feel like I have seen this hanging in an art gallery before. Sometimes things just work and look off, but in a very good way, I can't explain it, the color, the single daisy...

I really like it, I have seen many paintings of daisies, I think this daisy looks happy by itself in the bleakness of that room, It doesn't need much, just water and some light.

Do you do any oil painting?

happened to me on both Sketchbook Pro and Adobe Ideas but it didnt crash i just exited the program to check my email and my last hour was gone when i returned.
 
Thanks for uploading all your artwork! I am horrible at drawing but you guys give me motivation to keep practicing and getting better so I can one day draw stuff like this.
 
WOW. Alright. I've never paid money for an app before. After seeing some of these drawings I just forked over the $7 for it.

ARE YOU GUYS DOING THIS WITH YOUR FINGERS? Or are you using some sort of stylus?

I'm guessing most of the people posting are really good. There is no way someone who wasnt good at drawing or painting could end up with some of these. That daisy one in particular is amazing.
 
Here's the latest drawing I just finished called "Prelude to a Showdown..."

I really like it and it was a blast to draw! :)

Thanks for the kind words! I've only done 1 "real" painting and it was a wall mural for my wife. Other than that, the 3 paintings/drawings I posted in this thread are pretty much my entire art portfolio!
 
Not Sketchbook, I have yet to decide if I want Sketchbook or Brushes (I have sketchbook for my desktop so it seems logical to me to buy Sketchbook for the iPad) but I bought ArtStudio for .99¢ ... drew this while I was ... well I just drew it. It's not awesome but it I like the app.

Anyone know what file types Sketchbook and Brushes save as (ie: JPG, PNG etc)?

Sketchbook does JPG and PSD.
