I learned how from reading comments on MR, yay! My 2015 Link Bracelet still looks great, thanks to regularly brushing with Scotch Brite (or generic) pads, making sure to use straight lines parallel to the band. If you mess up, you can just brush them out again. I’ve removed so many scratches on mine over the years, but luckily nothing has been too deep. Here’s a pic of mine which also shows what the pad you want to buy should look like.By the way, what's the best way to get rid of micro scratches on the Silver Link Bracelet?
Not heard of the legacy watch bands but so far all of my older bands fit fine, Apple silicone, link bracelet, Nomad, all fine. If they are for the 44mm they should be fine.Is there a gap in the Ultra when using the legacy watch bands, a gap in the slot where the band slides?
If so, that’d put me off - I could never un-see it.
You wear 5 bands in one day? 😄 I actually started off wearing Ironstone today but switched to BH because was doing an event with Dolphin Club SF, and BH most closely matches the deep blue of our club flag, apparel, and outdoor furniture.Haha I mean we were discussing it yesterday. Subliminal synchronization. It is funny how often one of my five bands for the day shows up on here the same day.

Looks very good and the size suits your wrist.Ultra with Ink Leather Link.
I quite like this colour combination, what do others think?
Also I have a 178mm wrist. I’d like some honest feedback if the watch looks too big on my wrist or whether it looks fine?
I ordered with an Alpine Green Loop but don’t think the Alpine strap looks great on me due to the lugs.
I always have 2 watches, one each for home/work. Makes it really easy to not worry about charging. However now that I received my Ultra I’m getting 2 full days of battery w a little to spare. So if you don’t need the $ from resale I’d keep it.I love all of the SS photos. While I am super excited to receive my new Apple Watch Ultra, I will miss the SS finish. I completely understand why SS is not an option for the Apple Watch Ultra. I am debating if I should keep my 45mm SS watch and if I will even use it. Do any of you own (and actually use) more than one Apple Watch?
Looks good on you! It really is wrist dependent on how good it looks.Marketing images don’t do it justice.
Finally upgraded to a S8 41mm from a S4 40mm and, it looks like I never upgraded, that’s it I’m taking it back /s
In reality, I needed an upgrade since my battery on the S4 barely lasts a day after nearly 4 years of everyday use. Some scratches on the screen and one small scratch, but otherwise in good condition. SS is not worth the extra $300 since the Apple Watch depreciates unlike non-smartwatches and I don’t use cellular. Also there was no silver SS S7 on Apples Refurbished Store so I went with the latest. Rather use the money somewhere else. Still, should last me for another 4 years. May get a nicer band eventually.
That's the SS "Silver Link" bracelet? The ends look almost perfectly sized - is that right? That goes back to the 42mm Watches, but it looks like it fits almost perfectly. It’s like having a proper mechanical watch but with all the mod-cons. I love this thing. My favourite Apple product in years!!
It is yep and it fits very well indeed! That's the SS "Silver Link" bracelet? The ends look almost perfectly sized - is that right? That goes back to the 42mm Watches, but it looks like it fits almost perfectly.
Agreed. It had been many years since I’ve seen metal surrounding my watch crystal so it’s very comforting in a nostalgic way. And it’s great that our Link Bracelets can survive the transition. It’s like having a proper mechanical watch but with all the mod-cons. I love this thing. My favourite Apple product in years!!
Appreciate the pictures and commentary. Thanks for sharing!Approaching 24 hours with Ultra, I haven’t been this thoroughly impressed since my steel 0G back in Spring 2015!
To celebrate, here’s the new rugged titanium body with my band collection spanning 7+ years and sizes 42, 44 and 45mm..
1. The classic black Sport Band that came with my first Watch. To this day, I am always between sizes on the hole punches. Otherwise, simple and secure for some cardio and water.
2. Black Leather Loop is my daily grind for working at the office. Comfortably adjustable and dresses up the body nicely.
3. Storm Gray Sport Loop has held up with all my hiking, biking, swimming, walking, and running workouts 💪🏻
With that said, the color has faded pretty good over time and the velcro has split the threading around where I usually stick it. No issues at all, but it admirably reflects how much of a ride its been through.
4. Anchor Gray Sport Loop has a gray dual tone that pairs well with the brushed titanium body. This one provides the most comfortable, snug fit for biometrics and sleep tracking.
5. Midnight Ocean Band stood out from the Alpine and Trail Loops because of the classic buckle look in a sport context. Really looking forward to taking this out in the water with the new Depth app!
6. Stainless Steel Link Bracelet really puts Ultra in another league. This looks space age and dresses incredibly well for special occasions. The contrast in the way light reflects off the brushed titanium and steel links is definitely something to be seen in person. This one is a stunner, wow.
7. Space Black Link Bracelet is the best all-around in that it gives the Watch a premium look and feel, in addition to a sharp black contrast that reminds me of my 0G watch. The DLC coating has held up well wearing this while going out and looking sharp.
8. Charcoal Braided Loop is by far the most enjoyable to wear. Even with the heft of the Ultra, I easily forget that I have a wearable device on. It’s easy to clean and the color has not faded even with near daily wear. I got one size down, and this has nevertheless stretched out over time.
9. Bonus: As a hardcore black and space gray fan (see above), the Pride Braided Loop looks better than I imagined on the new Ultra. I wear this in tribute to my LGBT best friend in high school who tragically took his own life. This is my favorite special edition band that has been released thus far, and am more than happy to show my support.
I hope you found this useful if you are considering upgrading and have some bands that you‘d like to carry over.
Thanks for your ⌚️
