never runs out of battery (/power)? - what happens to it if you let it sit on a desk for a couple of days unattended? ;) i have a self winding watch and that thing is a pain in the butt!!! When the apple watch de-juices - plug it in and everything comes back to where it was with no fiddling!!!!!! :)

Haha I meant I haven't had to change the battery since I use it every day. You can get those self winding things if you won't be using it for a while..

I do love this watch, so it's a shame to replace it.

Considering that scratch I'm guessing you'll get the SS Apple Watch?

Ugh, that scratch is annoying. I've had 5 iPhones and NEVER had a scratch on any of their screens, but my watch was scratched within the first week of owning it. However, I'm getting the Sport version because I exercise every day and the lighter weight is important to me.

Replacing my Timex Atlantis 100, so nothing really special! :)

Pebble, no need for a picture because if you've seen one, you've seen them all. Replacing the pebble black with NATO strap, with a apple watch sport 42mm white.

Watch two of three being replaced by Apple Watch Sport...

Lumi-Nox 3050 Blackout. I purchased it at the Navy UDT-SEAL museum in Fort Pierce FL. Check them out if you're ever in the area.

Here's my old Tisssot PR50. Had it since I was 18 (14 years ago). No idea if it is a decent watch or not but I've enjoyed wearing it although it does feel a bit long in the tooth now and I'm looking forward to a change. Interesting to note that in those 14 years the face hasn't incurred a single scratch! Sapphire glass is the nuts. I order a sports Apple Watch so while it probably won't be as good, I only intend to keep it for a year or two before upgrading so I think the trade off should be ok.

I don't wear a watch atm but have to say if you've got a forearm fetish the Apple watch threads are bloody marvellous #

Won't replace them as I will use the Apple Watch mainly for the gym and any other exercise. But these are the ones it'll be alongside.

Gonna be switching back and forth with this:

I've been thinking about this for a while.
I'm a watch lover , in particular I collect new tag heuers and classic heuer.
I can see with this post that there are some owners of some serious watches wanting the new Apple watch.
I've pondered this question for a while, and this has just got me thinking again.
Who, if anyone has ever thought we watch enthusiasts might end up having to wear two devices, one on each arm. Sounds preposterous I know but who of these owners of these amazing watches is going to give up wearing them every day for the Apple watch.
The Apple watch is in my mind not a " some times I'll wear it sometimes I won't " kind of device.
If you want it for its intended purpose then it needs to be on the wrist ( or ankle) everyday
Who is going to start a new trend with me of " simultaneous watch wearing"?
Interesting thought or just crazy stuff.
Anyone been thinkin the same stuff?

As long as it's not two on the two on the same wrist, go for it. Fashion knows no bounds.

Here's one of mine that will see less wrist time.

One of a few that will be displaced but likely not replaced.

I'm with you, I'd never give up wearing my watches. I'm going to try to view the :apple: Watch as a communicator and sensor for fitness.

I'm currently cycling through these guys...

I'm going from my Oris Aquis Red Limited Edition to a 42mm Milanese Loop, which will hopefully be with me next Friday

Will likely wear the apple watch at work and gym and this to go out (was previously worn all the time except the gym)

It's not like I care what anyone does with their watches but, Why sell your watch? I look at all of my watches as an investment, some are worth nothing and i like them because they have character. A few have value and I could make a profit if i wanted to sell them. To sell your watch to buy an :apple: Watch that won't be worth anything down the road is ignorant IMO.

Very few watches hold their value. Anything other than a vintage Rolex would be a risk to hold on to expecting the value to increase.
