If he is talking about thunderbirds I think he means 2 27" TB displays and the 27" iMac which has 2 TB ports. I think it is save to say that those two TB displays are hooked to both TB ports on the iMac. Teleport would be useless in that case as well as with non-Macs as Teleport is Mac-only.

Keeps me out of the pubs :)

Awesome setup. Does the difference in height between the thunderbolt display and iMac annoy you?

Seems like one display would be connected to the mac mini and the other to the macbook air.

I hate your setup so much.

Why?

Because it's so beautiful that I just want to steal all your furniture.

Where did you get that calendar? I *need* that calendar!

That really is an awesome calendar. :)

Thanks! It's called the "Stendig Calendar" by Massimo Vignelli in 1966. I ordered it from stendigcalendar.com. It's the only calendar in the museum of modern art! Besides it's brilliant typography and design my favorite part is that it switches back and forth between black and white each month. So April was black and May looks like this:

And in case anyone was wondering, this is what my set up looks like at night with just the desk glowing.

That's interesting that your desk glows at night with the lighting. Is it bothersome or distracting while working in the dark like that? Do you happen to remember the name of your desk and where I could get one like that? Nice setup btw.

No it's the perfect amount of light to not be distracting. The lamps in my room reflect off of the ACD but the desk creates light without doing that (the angle of the picture makes it look like it does). The desk didn't glow when I got it. I bought LED lights from IKEA and painted the bottom of the glass with frosted spray paint to get the glowing effect when the LEDs shined on it from underneath.

Nice. What kind of setup are you running there?

I had a 17" MBP but needed more real estate. So I grabbed the two TB displays, and picked up a 2.5 Mac Mini.

Tucked the Mini, with a Time Capsule and external FW800 3TB storage down on the bottom right of the desk.

Well, I was pretty underwhelmed with the built in speakers on the TB display.

Put the Hi-Fi back in to get some bass going on.....

Is that the original Apple HiFi speaker? Wow man, you are one hard core Apple fan! I never knew anyone who dropped the money on one of these things ;)

:) Ya that's original. Man, that thing was my boom box for a long time. I used to cart that thing around everywhere I went. I can't bring myself to replace it...

When researching the TB displays, I was really trying hard to get info on the included speakers and subwoofer. There's almost no information out there in reviews other than things like "better than most speakers included in laptops" etc... Just really vague opinions of them.

So I had actually packed the Hi-Fi back in it's original packaging and tucked it away in storage. But the TB display speakers won't do for me. The Hi-Fi rides again!

But that HiFi ruins the whole aspect of your setup.. Don't you have a better place to install it? Looks a little clumsy on the desk between those two nice screens..
